Excellent work, knowledgeable contractors, love our remodeled bathroom!
They did a good job.
I've already handed out your business cards and emailed yoir website to several friends and neighbors who were impressed with my kitchen and first floor work.
was pleased with work
They're very detailed and help you every step of the way. Making sure they communicate on the process and making you aware of each new step or detail. You can really see the project coming together, making it very tangible.
Thought they were very easy to work with and everything was done right. They responded quickly with anything and happy with their work.
They are very dependable and reliable.
They were great from start to finish any question I had they were always there to answer any issue we had they resolved. I would recommend them to any person wanting to get their kitchen or bathroom remodeled.
We love our new custom-designed kitchen, walk-in pantry, laundry/mud room, 2 bathrooms, and new outside patio that James L. Graves Construction and specialty firms created for us. It's a dream come true!
Contracted for a 2 master bedroom suite, laundry and sunroom addition built onto existing 2 story home. Included screened in porch and full size utility room in basement. Overall things went very well and final construction is awesome. All trades (carpenters, painters, flooring, electrician, plumber, finishers, etc.) were top rate. Some minor glitches and communication issues which come with a construction project this size. Contractor (Jim) and office team (Logan/Beth) were a pleasure to work with and very responsive.
Excellent work and very competitive...highly recommend because they are also dependable and pleasant..great crew.
JLG Builds has done our kitchen and deck remodel and a half bath and laundry room refresh. All perfectly done and on time and budget.
It has to do with something that happened at the end with Mr. Graves. There was a conflict with my work schedule and the hours that the office was open so that I could take them my check for the invoice. I spoke with Bonnie Graves, and she said they didn't have a drop box, but to bring the check to their house. I left work and forgot the address, so I called the office and left a message at the office that I would bring the payment the following morning at 8:00 a.m. That night, Jim came to my house. He is usually a very happy charming person, but that night he gave off this hostility that made me very uncomfortable. As soon as I gave him the money, then he was fine. I honestly felt that the way that he acted was unprofessional. I understand he needed his money, but it was the way he acted, his attitude, and how uncomfortable he made me feel. If it weren't for that last interaction, I would use them again. But because of that, I would not recommend them to anybody. We are getting more work done, and it will not be done through them.
Mr. Graves' attitude does not comport with this business.
They were terrific.
Lack of communication and no inspection.
There is too much confusion with different contractors.
They were fine. Nothing in particular; they did a good job. It was a bathroom remodel. We would recommend them.
I liked they were on time. They kept me in the loop; they responded to my questions and concerns. I thought they were fair. They did a major bathroom remodel. I would grade them as a B+. There has been something since the job that we asked them to come back and look at. I'm sure they will; they just haven't yet. I would recommend them, and I've used them for a small job since then.
They remodeled my bathroom. They did a great job. They were very attentive and got the job done quickly. I was very impressed with them. As a matter of fact, I got them out of the Best Pick Reports book. I would grade them an A in everything. I would highly recommend them and might use them again.
They are just easy to work with, responsive, and they did a good job. They were working on bathroom renovation. I would grade them an A.
They walked us through the entire process. They were open to making changes along the way. They were here when they said they would be, and called when they wouldn't be. They were just great all the way around. We completely redid our kitchen. I would grade them an A+. I already have recommended them.
They remodeled my master bathroom. I did some of the work myself, after they left, but the workmanship was very good. I did have them tile my shower, so they rebuilt it—they gutted it and redid the floors and the walls. And they had—I can't remember what that insert is called—but all the tile work and everything is nice and square. Nice and neat, and they helped me pick out fixtures at their showroom, which ended up looking very nice. I'd give them an A+. They're very good.
Quality workmanship and good materials and so forth. It was a bathroom upgrade. I'd give them an A.
I just liked Jim's patience, and his attention to detail is outstanding. Recently they did what I call mini remodel in two bathrooms—plumbing repair and drywall. You can't even tell where they did it; it looks amazing. I would grade them an A+. I have recommended them already—I think I have a friend that is getting her bathroom done already.
GuildQuality partners with it's member companies to survey their customers and collect detailed feedback on their behalf. By administrating surveys as an unbiased third party we ensure that customers have the oppurtunity to express their true feelings about a project and that members get the most accurate and detailed feedback possible.
When a survey contains the "Review" question, that customer's answer will show up on the member's profile page as a public review. Members have the option to turn off reviews but cannot hide individual reviews. It's all or nothing. This means that any reviews you see on a GuildQuality profile page are real comments left by the customer and verified by GuildQuality.
Each item listed under "Customer satisfaction" represents a specific question asked by GuildQuality to customers of James L. Graves Construction as part of our survey process. The bar graph and percentage next to the question stand for the percentage of respondents that were "Satisfied" about that particular question.
A customer is considered satisfied about about a question if they answered with 4 or more stars out of 5. For example if the "Communication" question is at 95% satisfaction that means that 95% of survey respondents answered that question with 4 or more stars out of 5 possible stars.More about surveys
