As ISA (International Society of Arboriculture) and TCIA (Tree Care Industry Association) members, ETW stays current on industry approved methods of caring for and removing of trees. The latest tools and techniques are used with special care taken to ensure no unnecessary damage is done to the surrounding area.
SDOT Registered Tree Service Provider
Pruning trees along city streets usually requires a permit and only companies registered with SDOT (like Eastside) will be issued permits for street tree work. All work must be done in accordance with the City of Seattle’s guidelines and specifications outlined in the Street Tree Manual. Any pruning and other tree work must also comply with all ANSI 300 standards of tree care. Hide

The team did a good job of removing 2 trees and trimming a third. I was a bit disappointed, however, at the size of the stumps left in place. I was under the impression that they'd be much smaller after speaking with the estimator.

The tree was cut down, the wood hauled away, but the people that ground the stump out, left a huge mess and the fence was never put back as our agreement stated it would be.

They did a good job but not 100% completely to my satisfaction. I had to guide crew as to what to do to finish the job. I believe they should have seen the need to tidy up a few things (loose branches, remove branches hitting ground, even out sides, leave negative space between bushes to allow for sunlight, etc.) that I had to point out to them.
