The service has been top notch. The only thing that would give me pause in recommending Eakman Construction to my friends is the pricing quote issue. The price quote increased more than the 10% discussed in the initial sales meeting.
I continue to be impressed with Eakman's use of the BuilderTrend software and the ease that it provides in managing our renovation project. This has been particularly helpful during the COVID19 epidemic by enabling us to coordinate project details from afar, i.e. Ann Arbor, MI.
Eakman Construction has successfully delivered for us on multiple projects. Even after work was complete, when we had questions we never thought twice about reaching out to Stacy to ask for his help. He has always been honest and upfront with what to expect during the project. Stacy is easy to work with as are all of the crew. We were never worried about quality or trusting the team to be in our home.
We appreciated Stacy Eakman's clear, straightforward style and the professional, friendly, courteous team that works with him. Overall, we are very pleased with the majority of the work carried out. We did find clear areas of weakness that we had not experienced with previous renovations: some of the subcontractors provided mediocre service, and the design elements were strong due to an independent architect. It's worth hiring an architect/designer if you are going to do an extensive project, especially involving cabinets.
Eakman Construction has been one of the most organized and communicative companies that I have seen in the business and have had the pleasure of working with.
Stacy, Jake and all of the crew came in on time and on budget for our extensive remodel. They are pros at customer service, and answer any detailed question with patience. Your home will be in good hands with Eakman.
