Great team and great product - we love our remodeled home!
I'm about 1/3 of the way with our project. So far things are going well. I would like more information before being able to address this question.
Just wanted to reiterate that we can’t wait to refer our friends. This was a complicated project and although it wasn’t always smooth sailing, everything was always made right. The house came out better than we imagined.
There were times when things were going really well. But since we completed the punchlist there have been problems, which affects my ability to recommend them. It would have been easy to close this out, but that has not happened.
We have been very pleased with most aspects of the process. However we were disappointed in how long it took for Eakman to provide us with our contract and scope of work. We've really appreciated Aya's help in picking out finishes!
I like the transparency and responsiveness.
Honest service, interested in making us happy and stuck with us through the challenges of the pandemic.
Overall, I am still very happy with the remodel, but I am definitely frustrated by how the last 1-2 months went. I would still recommend Eakman to a friend, as I believe (and hope) that a lot of the things that fell through for us were largely driven by our original PM leaving Eakman and there not being a good transition process to a new PM. I trust that many of the things that happened would be lessons learned.
Too many missed dates without explanation
Very responsive and straightforward. Totally willing to work with us on budget and timeline, while giving realistic expectations of each.
Eakman Construction has successfully delivered for us on multiple projects. Even after work was complete, when we had questions we never thought twice about reaching out to Stacy to ask for his help. He has always been honest and upfront with what to expect during the project. Stacy is easy to work with as are all of the crew. We were never worried about quality or trusting the team to be in our home.
We appreciated Stacy Eakman's clear, straightforward style and the professional, friendly, courteous team that works with him. Overall, we are very pleased with the majority of the work carried out. We did find clear areas of weakness that we had not experienced with previous renovations: some of the subcontractors provided mediocre service, and the design elements were strong due to an independent architect. It's worth hiring an architect/designer if you are going to do an extensive project, especially involving cabinets.
Eakman Construction has been one of the most organized and communicative companies that I have seen in the business and have had the pleasure of working with.
Stacy, Jake and all of the crew came in on time and on budget for our extensive remodel. They are pros at customer service, and answer any detailed question with patience. Your home will be in good hands with Eakman.
GuildQuality partners with it's member companies to survey their customers and collect detailed feedback on their behalf. By administrating surveys as an unbiased third party we ensure that customers have the opportunity to express their true feelings about a project and that members get the most accurate and detailed feedback possible.
When a survey contains the "Review" question, that customer's answer will show up on the member's profile page as a public review. Members have the option to turn off reviews but cannot hide individual reviews. It's all or nothing. This means that any reviews you see on a GuildQuality profile page are real comments left by the customer and verified by GuildQuality.
Each item listed under "Customer satisfaction" represents a specific question asked by GuildQuality to customers of Eakman Construction as part of our survey process. The bar graph and percentage next to the question stand for the percentage of respondents that were "Satisfied" about that particular question.
A customer is considered satisfied about about a question if they answered with 4 or more stars out of 5. For example if the "Communication" question is at 95% satisfaction that means that 95% of survey respondents answered that question with 4 or more stars out of 5 possible stars.More about surveys
