I was planning on purchasing gutters and had two techs come look at my house. They originally measured the wrong house. They had a spand of gutters over 35ft with one downspout and a downspout that would have flooded a walkway and driveway. This was brought me my attention by an actual gutter company. Now Remodeling demdand a down payment to secure a lowest price. My house wasn't painted and I informed their tech I would call when I was ready to continue on with color choice and a install date. After deciding to go with a more detailed and slightly more expensive quote I called to cancel my contract with Now Remodeling. They refused to reimburse me a portion of my down payment despite no work being done, no material ordered, no extra measurements taken. Legally they were entitled to 15% of my down payment but they collected the whole deposit making false claims of extra work in order to collect an additional $350 Very disappointed with their customer service.

I have not heard from them since before the work began. I do not know if they are done yet? Does this survey mean they are done?

Areas Of Satisfaction - For me the key was Rick Brasmer. He took the time needed to explain the process of installation, the quality festures of the Owens Cirning roofing system, and was always personable and knowledgeable in responding to my various questions and follow ups. I would be remiss in not complimenting the crew that did the actual work. I like to watch projects being done and was very impressed with the efficiency and teamwork of the crew that came to our house.

Other roofing companies used by other family members was significantly less expensive then NOW.

They were great to work with snd did a final walk around before we settled the bill.

The service was really good, and the patio cover turned out beautiful.

They were efficient, showed up on time, did the job in a timely manner, did a good job. They came back, did the replacement right away.

Had a lot of problems with the subcontractor

I had three windows installed. Now Remodeling LLC was very professional and helpful, both when they came to give me information and during the installation. It was done well and professionally. I would refer Now Remodeling LLC to someone who had similar needs.

They were very professional and quick in service.

Absolutely the worst Contractor experience I have ever experienced. From the very start it was over promise and under deliver. I was told when I agreed to the contract, work would begin in about 3 weeks. I was concerned about the project extending into late fall which I had told them numerous times. The work finally started 3 weeks after the estimated time which was well into the time of bad weather. There was no communication from them at anytime informing me of when they would begin work during that 3 week delay. The only way I could get info was if I initiated the calls. Each call was answered with another Hollow promise or weak excuse or just plain LIE.

Work Finally begins. The Contractor begins taking the roofing off, I had to leave for the day and wouldn't be home until the next day. We exchanged numbers in case something came up. I received a call that evening from the Contractor telling me they couldn't get all the roofing off because several panels had rotted and need to be replaced. This of course meant additional cost to me. I asked him to take pictures so I could see the damage. When I got home the roof underlayment was on, so I asked for the pictures he said he didn't have them and they were at the office. Later that day I checked through the dumpster and the old panels weren't there. They didn't charge me for panel re-placement because I caught them in a lie.


Work now begins on the installation of the shingles. Once again another delay, I had to call them asking for a start time. MrPowell the owner of Now Remodel who I had talked to several times explained in his seriously obnoxious and condescending voice a series of lies and excuses. Covid and supply chain were the primaries, I inquired why would you tear a roof off if you don't have the materials on hand? You can probably see a pattern developing here where it's all about His Company and the customer is not very important. Finally the material arrives, however the roof still had tarps on it and the roofers weren't here to remove it so the lift operator had to call and make arrangements for someone to come and assist. Another example of poor planning.

The roof was finally finished, it looked okay I thought some of shingles on the peaks looked a little strange but I was assured they would correct
during the Summer heat. My yard and house siding took a beating, shrubs around the house were severly damaged, a Very expensive Lace Leaf Maple was destroyed beyond help from old shingles being thrown off the roof. My siding had gouges and asphalt stains from reckless throwing of shingles. I spent days raking my lawn to remove buckets of old roofing nails. Finally after another call someone finally came out with a magnetic rake. But by then I had picked up most.

Miscellaneous roofing issues, At no time during the entire roofing process did any member of the crew wear safety harnesses or additional safety items. My roof is steeper than the average roof so just common sense would dictate care regardless of what osha requires. the other issue in this is I had a Dumpster in my driveway for 2 weeks after completion, which I had to call on.


Now comes the gutter part of the contract. The entire gutter system was to be replaced. The contractor arrived in the middle of a snow storm to do the replacement. I questioned them about if it could be done without future problems, they assured me it would be just fine. Within weeks every miter joint of the system leaked. I contacted Now Remodel again. the contractor they used to do the gutters came out 4 more times and still couldn't get them all to stop leaking, The biggest problem area was over my front steps, I had sent Remodel pictures of the leaks so they knew I wasn't making things up. We finally sent a complaint to the BBB. Shortly thereafter Now Remodel wouldn't respond to my concern. The appt for them to come out again never occurred. I did see a response by Now Remodel to the BBB that I was An Unsatisfiable Customer and was rude to their worker on the gutter project. I had that employs phone number and asked him if I had ever been rude or disrespectful to him and he denied it, and then he informed me he no longer worked for them. I became so angry I just had another reputable gutter firm come out and replace the whole section of gutters over my front steps. Bingo! no more leaks. I paid the bill and sent it To Now Remodel.. No response.


Finally 3 years after an entire roof and gutter replacement A leak from a boot around a vent occurred. Of course Now Remodel denied any responsibility. All boots had been replaced during the roofing project except the tone that leaked.


After all the issues I had with this Company I never seen them once come out and monitor the project. When I confronted Mr Powell about that he said " we don't have time to watch over all our projects ". I rest my case

NOW remodeling replaced our aging roof and NOW remodeling was our 1st choice to replace the vinyl siding after the fire. NOW worked for closely with us to remodel the house well within the parameters given by the insurance company. NOW was very willing to negotiate an acceptable cost base on other contractor bids.. This area deserves 6 stars.

We were ripped off by the salesman. He gave us a refund ammount to pacify us. The actual refund was half of what we were told.

Deck seal roof installed wrong 4 times, it now leaks.

The NOW team were good but did not mention that they subcontract the work, their subcontractor was below standard.

This initial installer that measured the windows was fired by NOW before he showed up to install them. The replacement installer's work was satisfactory, but not what I would call "Excellent" - the caulking job was below average. The project manager finally came over and redid the caulking job and it is much better, going beyond "Good" to "Excellent", bordering on "Fabulous". I would be much more impressed with NOW if I had gotten the final finish job from the get-go. I would recommend NOW to a friend, but with some caveats. One of them is to make sure that Bryan Barrett is the PM and the one to come and inspect the final work. If it wasn't for Bryan re-doing the caulk job, I would not recommend contracting with NOW. Bryan fixed what would have been an average installation - and one that every time I would look at it I would be disappointed - and made it stellar.

Overall I am extremely satisfied with the product, timeliness, and professionalism with which our roof installation was handled and performed. The reasons why our roof was being replaced was very complicated and having a quick response with a great quality product helped immensely.

They were very nice to work with, and for being young kids, they were very reliable, respectable, and kept us informed the whole time.

They were two days late starting the project. They didn't come when I expected them, and I didn't get a call saying that they would not come. Everything was fine after the job started.

Areas Of Satisfaction - I was satisfied with the job itself, materials, and clean-up afterward. They did an excellent job cleaning afterward—you wouldn't even know that they were there.

Universal Windows Direct damaged stuff on my house and they will not come back and fix it. When they'd come back, they just carve a bit of caulk together. They said they ripped the siding off so they put it together with siding of the same colors and they tried to paint it and it looks like crap. The roof looks great but the rest of it and their professionalism as far as everything else is poor.

Very pleased with the outcome. Very professional!!! Outstanding crew!!
