The roofing aspect of it, of removing it and getting it on, I make the assumption that it was done correctly. The agent that sold us the roofing job, we emphatically informed him we have gutters all the way around the house, and our other buildings. They have LeafGuard screens in them. We emphatically asked him, is that going to be an issue for them? He said, don’t worry, it won’t be an issue for us, we will get them off and get them back on. Well, lo and behold, there was an issue. The people that they had doing the roof were people who do roofs. Those were the same people who removed the gutters and reinstalled them. However, when they removed the gutters, they didn’t put any numbers on them, take a sequence, take pictures, or anything like that. So, when they went to put the gutters back in, it was a fiasco. They are not the same. There are gaps in the screens. They made more holes in the lips, where the screen sits on top of the gutter lips. So, we are looking at the job that 8 years ago cost us $5,000 just for the screens. That is not including the gutters. We already had the gutters. I had 14 gutter holders left over that they didn’t put back. As I said, there are gaps in the screens, plus, where it comes off the valleys and everything, there are little gutters there; they have a special combination of little pieces of gutter drains sitting on top of the master gutter, which did not get put back the same. So, all in all, they did a terrible job as far as the gutters, and it cost us more money. To do our buildings and stuff like that was over $30,000. So, now I have got an expense of maybe another $8,000 because we are probably going to have to replace not only the screens, but the butters. So, all in all, the roof looks great. However, we had the gutters for a purpose to keep the rain from falling against the house and to make sure we were keeping the foundation in check all the time. Now, we have to go back and redo all of that. So, my wife likes the roof. They did, as I said, the people who were there to do the roof, they did a wonderful job. I make that assumption. However, the way they did the gutters, taking them off and putting them back on, I would recommend them for a roof, but I would also, if it were somebody that I know, inform them that this is what happened to me, and for you to make the choice.

Overall, Texas State Roofing Co did a good job. There was a little mistake that was corrected. They were responsive, and I would recommend them to my friends.

Ok price for what you receive. Finished the job quickly but the crew want supervised so they damaged my deck, there they're yeah and fix in my yard and list my screens to my leafless gutters.

From previous experiences, I would have never dreamed that I would be leaving a roofing company this great of a rating. They really did a great job.

Dealing with Gilbert was great, he was easy to get ahold of and answered our questions in a timely manner and even communicated with our insurance contact. Communicating with the crew when a question arose was a problem as they apparently spoke no English but overall it was a really good experience and would recommend them.

The roof installers were not direct employees of the company, but, independent subcontractors who had previously been working for Texas State Roofing. This raises a RED Flag! There was no direct management overview from the company to come and check on the installers (I was home the whole 3 day installation). RED Flag! After the installers were complete, I pointed out some stains on my vinyl siding from when the old roof was removed to the company representative. He said he would be back to remove the stains from my siding. It has been over 7 months and nobody has come to remove the stains from my siding. RED Flag!

Texas state roofing brought out the product and everything was fine. The second day they did not do clean up as promised. I am still waiting for a certified engineer to come out and look at the roof. They did not call and they did not fix the soffit correctly. They did not fix the back correctly as well. They basically started the job and never finished it.

I was very satisfied with every aspect of the process, from the sales recommendation and price to the top quality installation and clean up. Everyone I dealt with was professional and respectful. If you need a roof you owe it to yourself and family.

Their price was pretty much inline with the other quotes I received but they have been around a long time and have a pretty good reputation so I went with them. Overall I think they did a good job. The only issue I had was the length of time it took to receive the windstorm certification, but that wasn't really their fault. I'm just glad it's done and in time for hurricane season.
