I'm not sure what to say about Steve Krauz roofing. Steve was friendly and professional, and definitely knew his business. The new roof appears to be well built, and I believe his pricing was fair. The roofers cleaned up after themselves quite well. On the negative side, communication with Steve, especially around dates, wasn't that great.
The team that actually installed the roof was a subcontracted group of roofers who performed the work with little oversight from Steve or his actual team. There was some damage to my home, which Steve fairly compensated me for. Lastly, and probably the biggest reason for my 3-star review, was that I had to ask Steve to come out and inspect the roof his subcontractors installed. Since I hired Steve for his expertise, and I know very little about roofing, I wanted him to sign off on the work. I was a surprised that I had to ask.
