The owner, Johnathan is great to work with and is professional. We had an unfortunate situation where the first night of our 2-day roof job it rained and the tarps they put on the roof blew off and we had significant water damage inside our home. Johnathan arrived at our house at 6a with fans and dehumidifiers and had the right attitude. He realized the situation was bad and didn’t try to downplay it.
Our subsequent ceiling repair took a very long time and was disastrous the first round. Our job was going to take 3-days. We prepared for the days with our work schedules. The day before it was to start we were informed, it changed to 1.5 days. They thought they could drywall patch in two room, completely replace and hang new drywall, mud and paint three rooms in 1.5 days. In a nutshell, we asked them to leave and completed the two rooms that had been patched ourselves. We sanded, spackled and painted.
We allowed them back for the full ceiling repair and after three different textured ceiling people that either messed up or backed out, they finally got someone very good.
All 4 of the ceiling work crews said they would paint the trim but in the end no one did and again, my husband and I did it ourselves.
We are now very happy with the results. We have a stunning roof and a lovely textured ceiling.
I did recommend SWAT to a friend and she signed on the dotted line, only after I point blank asked SWAT WHO THEY will use for her ceiling and I told her to get every single tiny detail in writing so she isn’t doing the ceiling painting or trim work.
