Quick response. Cut the old wallboard in rectangles -- a plus for those who redid the wallboard. But note: Cut one ceiling section 3" or so past a joist; wallboarders had to cut it again, to the next joist -- can't "join" two long pieces of wallboard "in the air". Also -- they cut out some short pieces of baseboard -- which I could have reused -- and then threw them away, without asking me! It can be very difficult -- or impossible -- to match old baseboard; and if it can't be matched, it may mean having to redo all the baseboard in a room. I happened to have enough leftover baseboard to replace these sections; but they should have known to ask if I wanted to have those pieces so that I could re-use them when having the repairs done.

Hard no. Their work was unsafe, dishonest, and exploitative. Recommending them would be putting someone else at risk of the same nightmare I went through.

The Rytech team was absolutely outstanding! My wife discovered the leak at about 8:45AM. After a few phone calls, Rytech was here at Noon. The team spent about an hour ad a half evaluating the damages forms eh leak and pinpointed it to the Master Bedroom Bath above the kitchen. They returned two days later with their equipement and in one day, completed removed the damaged rug, wood flooring and kitchen cabinet kick plates, and disassembled the wallboard and molding up t to he ceiling. They set up their drying equipment and screened off the impacted area. In 5 days of continuous operation, the damaged area was dry and ready for evaluation for repairs.

The Rytech team was outstanding. We called on Christmas Eve because of an hot water leak in our slab and they had someone out to help us within a few hours. Incredibly precessional and responsive throughout the process. Explained the process, assisted us with our insurance company and helped us with a contact to get the leak detected and fixed.
