This was a very positive experience from start to finish. I couldn't have asked for a more professional and accommodating group. They were truly respectful of the fact that we had a flood and needed to try to save important documents and mementos. It was dirty work and it was carried out with grace and care.

Rytech of Greater Chattanooga showed up to mitigate water damage with a dehumidifier, which did not work. Three days later, they brought a machine that works and over-dried a spot on the wood flooring. They sent out a crew to remove the damaged floor, but they got rough with the trim. On the plus side, they did install a dehumidifier in my crawl space. Rytech of Greater Chattanooga did show up on time, but I was not satisfied with the work.

Based on communication that I received, my expectations were met satisfactorily. But based on my business knowledge, there was a fair amount of wasted time in the air handling units recovered from my house once the contractor indicated that things were dry. This could have theoritically gone into keeping the equipment more productive, generating more profit for the company or less cost for me. In all fairness, the cost was satisfactory as well, based on expecations communicated in advance.
They provided excellent service and prompt response. They were very accommodating to our out-of-town trip.

They were supposed to put a plastic barrier in my bedroom, but they didn't, so sheet rock dust got everywhere. The manager didn't know until it was done. Also, there is still molded insulation in the kitchen wall where they were supposed to cut five feet up and only cut two feet up.

I have always been confused about who does what in my claim. At first, Kenneth Hobbs contacted me immediately and performed the water mitigation aspect. He did an outstanding job. After he finished, I pretty well dropped out of sight with the combined oversight of my insurance company, my case manager, and the others who were to conclude the work on my claim. Did send me some information and an occasional email that indicated they were working through the claim, indicating at one point that she would expect it all to be concluded within fourteen days. After that, weeks took place and I heard nothing from anyone. I finally contacted DUCZT and found them to be unaware of my case. Finally, at my initiative and followthrough, they have indicated their follow-through. They also referred me to a man named Will, who I understood from them was actually my claim coordinator. I reached out to him and he responded with an indication that he would follow through on his part. This was a small claim with little work to be done. The damage took place around thanksgiving, 2020 and has yet to be resolved. I have also contacted my insurance company about the lack of attention to my needs. David McDonald
