Their entire team from the consultant to the office team was amazing.
Work was done promptly and well by an efficient, courteous crew of workers.
This is my rental property. I also had Resilient replace a roof on my residence, 7961. As you can see by my previous survey answers regarding 7961 Mission Bonita Dr., I would NEVER recommend this company for any roofing needs. My experience with them was a disaster.
At 7969, the installers punctured a pressurized water pipe in the ceiling on January 15, 2024. It flooded half of the downstairs, including the dining room, kitchen, foyer and part of the living room. The whole area had to be gutted to allow the walls and ceiling (part of which collapsed) to dry out. A water mitigation company set up 10 industrial fans and 2 dehumidifiers for 8 days, running 24 hours per day, to dry out the walls and ceiling. The reconstruction of the walls, ceiling, kitchen cabinets and countertops, including new painting and flooring throughout, has taken 4 months. On May 9, 2024, the final inspection was done. All during the demo and reconstruction, my tenant and his 2 children were living through this disaster. It was a nightmare for them, for such a long time. The repairs for this came at a cost of $39,000. I understand that mistakes can happen, but Resilient never even apologized for this. In fact, the job Foreman said it wasn't their fault! They even had me pay for the plumber who was called to repair the pipe. This is just another example of the incredibly poor customer service displayed by Resilient Roofing.
My experience with Resilient Roofing was a disaster. Explanations to follow.
Very likely I will pass your company’s Great work ethic!
Customer service, coordination and communication is poor (felt non existant at times). The customer does not come first and concerns were ignored. A lot of money was spent on this project and the entire process after the contract was signed was challenging. I had to continuously call to get status on when people were going to show up. Eventhough I clearly communicated I worked from home and the times I was unavailable becauseof meetings, I was interrupted with crew showing up at random times. The company was not respectful of my time. The communication between the crew and the scheduling person was equally poor. I was told work would be Wednesday through Friday, then Monday through Tuesday. No weekends. They started Wednesday, no one showed up on Thursday, showed up half day Friday, then showed up at 7am on Saturday. The roof vents were placed in an odd pattern, meaning not equally spaced out over the roof. When I asked to explain the logic, I was told that's just how they did it. We discussed the location of the downspouts and again I expressed concerns of location. When they installed them, they installed exactly as I asked them not to. I felt I was being gaslit. Again, it's too much money spent to then also be treated so poorly. When i called the first time to communicate my concern, the person I spoke to thought it was a good time to tell me I owed more money for materials. Terrible customer service. Would NOT recommend to anyone.
Resilient Roofing: excellent service, quality, and workmanship..
We did recommend you to a friend prior to our roof starting. They actually had a horrible experience too with the timeline, communication, and problems with solar panels. We also received a bill for an extra $5000.00 for extra wood replacement, without any proper warning. We were given no heads up until everything was done. We had no other option but to sign it. Our friends that got their roof done before us were given a credit for that. When we asked if we could get a credit as well, since they didn't follow the contract or let us know ahead of time. They wouldn't give us the credit.
We were very comfortable signing a contract with Resilient because of the professionalism of their sales person, the products they use, and their reputation. Unfortunately our experience with them after that point was unsatisfactory. After informing numerous individuals in the company that we wanted to be home when our roof was replaced, and telling them the exact 1 month period when we would be out of the country, we received both written and oral confirmation for a project start date to begin 1 week after our return. Within 1 week of us departing the country, a friend informed us that Resilient had removed our roof and had begun the replacement project!! We were obviously upset. After returning home, due to the fact that we were not able to protect things in our garage, we found our cars and the garage covered with saw dust and pieces of construction material. Additionally, we had contracted for the installation of 8 roof vents and the removal of our old patio cover. Unfortunately we discovered that only 6 vents had been installed. Of the 4 posts supporting the patio cover, the hardware holding the posts to our concrete patio had not been removed and two of the 4"x4" posts were cut off at about 2', leaving 4 trip hazards on our patio! Resilient did come out to install the other 2 vents and remove the patio cover posts/hardware. In summary, unfortunately we have to say that the experience was very frustrating and unnecessarily stressful.
From the initial sit down meeting with Jon Resilient Roofing's staff, scheduling, workmanship and overall quality was the highest grade. I would recommend them to everyone.
Quality service and product. Highly recommended.

We feel strongly that the finest roofing company in Southern California is Resilient Roofing.
The process was great and their staff is very nice.
I would and will continue to recommend the entire team at Resilient Roofing
Very high quality product, but they do tack on extras.
This is your go to for roofing. You don’t have to get estimates anywhere else. We were so happy with this company from start to finish. Loved the regular communication from the office. You all are the best!
From the inception of the project, RR staff was excellent in contact with me. My representative, Ashley, was professional and efficient, explaining the project during the process of the re-roofing. f I had questions, she found the answers and responded quickly. The whole organization well deserves a five star rating.
Overall great job on the roof. Was very impressed how they went around the yard with a large magnet looking for any nails. As I do have a dog this was a little bit of a worry
They are a little pricey however I believe that sometimes you get what you pay for. That would be the case in this instance.
They were very professional. I did have one little issue, but they were very good about resolving it. I got to know them very well because they would respond right away to get me to the right person. Whenever someone would come we would have a conversation on what needed to happen. They were excellent.
The team at resilient roofing were outstanding. I have experience in the commercial roofing industry for 20 years. I was very impressed with their workmanship. The project manager was always in contact with me and extremely flexible. The project manager and foreman were veryTolerant of my requests for custom flashing in certain areas. I know more man hours went into my project then were originally agreed upon. There was no extra charge for the service.
They did a great job of fixing all the things that I asked them to fix. They are honest and work hard.
I am very pleased with Resilient roofing and the beautiful job they did on my very old roof.I highly recommend this company.
On time, reliable and highest quality craftsmanship. I'll use them again.
