We have a new roof. We are thrilled with the outstanding work that RAD Roofing did on our house. These people were simply amazing. They went above and beyond to ensure that the roof is not only built to code but also made sure the roof will provide a leak proof structure for decades to come. Daniel Pack, a 30+ year experienced roofer in a previous life, now a foreman, has ensured that the house has the required ventilation for those hot summer days in Georgia. He also provided direction on all of the added flashing, venting and underlayment upgrades that are often overlooked by previous roofing contractors that we hired in the past.

            This company was spot on through the whole process. From working with us, the insurance company, adjusters, picking out the roofing tile and color, talking with us about any special issues or needs, (we added some bathroom vents), telling us about the demo and build process and building code requirements, ordering the supplies, looking at the weather, scheduling the work, then bringing it all together.

           The dumpster came, then the supplies showed up, then the crew came in and it was like kicking a fire ant hill. Everyone got out of the van and got to work. No drama, no whining, no B S'ing around. Everyone was prepared to go to work and got on it. It was like a well-oiled machine. Everyone got their PPE, (personal protective equipment) on, their safety equipment on, ladders went up, tarps went down and covered all the surfaces were tile and debris would come down. There were no slackers. It was a sight to see. They all appeared to enjoy their work. Playing their music, singing, just enjoying the day. And they did it safely. It was a welcomed and refreshing change from the vendors that we’ve hired to do in past jobs. I later found out that this crew has worked together for over 10 years. There were no day laborers or temps. No surprises.

            The job wasn’t complete until all the debris, nails, tiles, and anything that came off of the roof was picked up. The grounds were cleaner that when they started, which was noted and appreciated as previous contractors always leave stuff behind for the homeowner to clean up. These people worked tirelessly for 10 hours through the day and got it finished. Then they packed it up and left just as quickly as they came, in a flash.
