Ciana Rice did a great job of communicating requirements and next steps with us. She was sensitive and mindful in explanations in a devastating situation. Both her and her team were mindful of our possessions and worked hard to turn over our home to the contractor in a timely manner.
Worst Experience of my life. They inventoried and stores my belongings of which about 50% of my items returned to me. They lied their way into my house, kicked down the front door. Even the house burning was not as bad as these guys. Do yourself a favor. Find someone else.
Many personal items were left dirty & just laying around all over- including in the buildings’ public spaces. Most of my bathroom contents were just left gross & in a bin (one of mine from in the closet). Staff (except the lead) were unprepared to work on a flood/saturation job & didn’t know what to do. And finally, they didn’t arrive until the 6th, the incident happened on the 2nd, and they attempted to reassure me that mildew didn’t grow until 7 days of saturation, which I know to be absolute bunk. It’s was over 80 degrees with huge areas soaked through & the industrial dryers ran for 10 days. The final straw was that someone peed in my hardware bucket, they was under the sink valves. Only restoreX had access, and there was a very young man that I’m pretty sure did it. I wasn’t here, and found it later after coming home to look around and smelling ammonia/pee in the room. I get that there was no available toilet here, but come on………
They did a little more then they needed too. They demoed more then I thought they needed to.
They were very good and courteous.
Packing up items took longer than needed and painters were quick but a little messy on areas not painted
Completely satisfied and have already recommended them to a friend who has used them.
It is two because of the time schedule, it has been a long-going project and it is still not complete. I have not received any updates as to when it is going to be completed and about is what going on with the project.
RESTORx had too many people in an out of my house inspecting the job site during a pandemic. They did not have the proper PPE on to make me feel comfortable with them in my house. It seems that RestorX staffs members are not communicating with each other effectively resulting in unnecessary visits. They no showed for two appointments and did not bother call to me to follow up. I was not impressed with this company and will not recommend them to anyone.
I would like to have a contact person there.
See above. Lack of communication from the project manager led to more stress to an already stressful situation. The uncertainty of the phases of the project was really concerning particularly with it came to scheduling time off inured to accommodate being on site for those phases.
Extremely unprofessional.
Our experience with Restorx was a nightmare. I would never recommend this company to anyone. No plastic barriers put up while jack hammering tile, terrible craftsmanship by some of their workers, a can of stain set down on our white quartz countertops that were just installed, kitchen cabinets broken, workers not showing up when we were told they would..I could go on and on. We still have bi-fold doors that don't close properly.
I would recommend them for the initial part of water damage, they did great and were real responsive with that. However, I would not recommend them for the finishing part.
We had roof damage and water was leaking into our dining room. RestorX was quick to send someone out to help stop the dameage from spreading. Overall it was a good experience working with them. Even during the beginning stages of a pandemic Restorx was able to get the work done in a professional and timely matter.
restorx work very satisfied and do a good job but the problem they took tooi long of the time 3 months to finised
They were cool and were great.
Staff acted and worked diligently, professionally, cautiously, and respectfully.
These guys were great to work with. We had a water leak from our washing machine. I called my insurance company who hired RestorX. They had a crew at my house within a few hours with everything necessary to remove the water and dry things out. They explained every in detail, were extremely polite and careful. Their quick response was key in keeping the damage to a minimum. The repair crew who came afterward to put every back together was equally as competent. The estimate was accurate and the final bill was fair. I couldn’t ask for better. In this environment of mediocre everything it was refreshing to work with these people. I highly recommend them.
We had such a wonderful experience from start to finish with Restorx. I am just amazed at all of the coordination that had to take place between teams, and they pulled it off without a hitch! They kept me informed at all times, and were seriously amazing to work with. I am so grateful!
They did what they had to do. If it was wet, it had to go. They did a good job.
I was so very happy with the team. Ryan S, Arron S, Pam, Thomas and Ivan were great to work with! They explain everything and where careful toward removal of the cabinets. The whole restoration process plus the cleanup went smoothly. I was really pleased.
Alex was awesome at keeping us informed and explaining what was needed and going on. The lower ratings were when other employees were Ok, but not quite to Alex' standard. All in all the company did a very good job, with just a few hiccups.
Although the original contact with this company and their remediation (demolish) part of the team were prompt and polite and finished their part of the process in a timely manner, the rest of the process (rebuild) was not.It took over 2 1/2 months before my project was finally finished and now I have a floor that is "buckling" and has spots at the end of planks that pop up and move when you step on them. Allstate was very helpful and easy to work with, Restorx was NOT.
Overall positive experience.
