They representatives were very up front and knowledgeable. They met with insurance adjuster and handle what the insurance company needed a timely fashion. They also kept me in the loop on everything that was going on. The communcations was very good.
Entire reason to use porter roofing was because roof around chimney was leaking. Salesman sold repairing the chimney leak and a new roof. Never repaired the chimney leak area and had the inside water damage painted the same time roof was repaired. Only to find out after the fact that the chimney repair was cancelled in its entire and that I was told I needed to deal with my insurance agency again on it. All during this time after I had the internal water damaged repaired and painted, it continued to leak and inside of house shows water damage again in ceiling. Salesperson only wanted Tom sell the roof and didn’t care or listen to the main reason I’m decided to use Porter Roofing. I had another roofer quote the job $2,500 cheaper, but initially had a better feeling the porter would handle everything even though they were a bit more expensive. Wish I would have went with the other company whom would have repaired everything I needed done. Feel like I was also handed around to multiple people. Ben, Craig, Brayden, and Alan.

Quality work and great customer service
Extremely poor communication, there were several things that we were told would be getting done, when they never got completed due to various reasons, and was not communicated with and didn’t find out until job was being done.
It took months to have the work finished, things were done differently than we were told, our point person kept changing.
You worked on house from April 3 until September 29 that’s 6 months that is not acceptable.Jim Sweezy was the only one that kept us informed on what was happening.

Sales and approval with insurance went good. Once the job started there was a lack of communication and follow through. I had concerns with the quality of the work. It took 6 weeks to correct very minor issues. There was no communication about a final inspection. Once the day 1 roof job was complete I had to become the PM. Not a great experience once the job started and would not likely recommend. The customer journey needs better systems and follow through once the job starts.
1) All around communication was very poor following the contract being signed. I had to follow up numerous times with our sales person (James) to try to find out what was going on, when the work would happen, etc. I ended up going in person to the Porter Roofing office to speak with someone directly in order to get some traction as James wasn't responding.
2) The roofing & gutters part of our project was completed in November and I never heard anything about the final piece of the project (rescreening front porch). I finally gave up this week and asked to have this work removed from the contract so that we could pay the final invoice & be done.
3) When I received the final invoice, the total amount due was incorrect and I had to request it be updated & sent again. Fortunately, I'm very detail oriented and caught the over-charge before paying!
I don’t recommend any business to anyone.
The roof installation team was absolutely fantastic, especially in the grueling heat. Fast, efficient, and we found zero nails left behind! We were amazed.
Porter Roofing fought my insurance company for me when the insurance company wanted to only repair some shingles from a hail storm. In the end, the entire roof was rightly replaced.
Lynn was amazing. She explained everything and made sure I was happy with everything.
