I have never dealt with a worse contractor than Paul Davis Restoration. After a tree fell on our house on May 6, 2021, I decided to use them based on State Farm's recommendation. They gave me the name of the man who would be the project manager. I never met him, he never once came out to our house to look at the damage, and he made no effort to contact me, except to send me a work authorization. I paid half of the estimate ($10,018.33) on June 24, 2021. I did not hear anything from the project manager all July or August. I finally got in touch with the office, and they sent a roofer to look at the damage. He said he couldn't do anything until the framing work was done. I tried contacting the project manager to see when a framing crew was going to get started, and after several attempts, he said the roofer was responsible for that. The roofer finally did get a crew, and he basically became the project manager. At this point, I asked the roofer what I was paying Paul Davis for, and he couldn't give me an answer. I had to hire and pay a metalworker myself ($6,375) to replace the patio railing the tree destroyed. I had to hire a pest controller ($1,078) to remove raccoons that had infested our ceiling. They were able to get in, because Paul Davis Restoration took so long to begin work, and there was an opening in the facia. Almost five months after the tree fell, the job was finally completed. In late September, I paid the balance of the work authorization ($10,018.33). On October 5, the Paul Davis Restoration office called me to say they would be sending me a Completion of Service document for me to sign. More than three months later (January 18, 2022), I received an email asking me to sign it, and it included an invoice for an extra $7,198.84. I never once received an itemized list of expenses, so I had no idea why I would still owe $7200. Eight months later, on September 16, 2022, I finally received an itemized expense report. How can a contractor underestimate the cost of a job by over $7000? I suppose it’s possible if he doesn’t visit the job site one single time.
After fixing my windows and interior, they needed to paint a section of my house and it is the wrong color. I asked them to fix it and they have been unresponsive. I’m very disappointed.
They were very professional. The only thing was they went way over the timescale. The quality of work was very good!
PDR of Middle TN explain every step during the process of restoring my home. Everyone was professional. I recommend anyone making your first choice Paul Davis.
I'll never hire them to do work in my home ever again and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone!
The interaction with customer service was very good.
Paul Davis did a great job on our home after a pipe break and minor flooding situation.
Everything was handled in a very timely and professional manner. This made a bad experience not So Bad. They took care of everything and did a fine job! Thank You!!
Poorly managed repair work on my house after water damage. My insurance adjuster has been very engaged and prompting the work that needs to get done.
They acted very unprofessional and a job that need to be done in a few months took two years. We had to spend five months in a hotel.
My floors say it all.
I would recommend to a friend but would tell them to talk to Paul Davis Restoration about not leaving nails all over.
We are very please with the workmanship. We could not be more please with the entire process. Excellent service, courteous gentlemen to work with and very good communication.
I found them to be not only professional but they were absolutely meticulous in everything they did.
The team that I had for the first half of the job was not 4 stars by no means, but the second team was definitely a 4 star team.

I thought they were very professional and courteous. They did a very good job.
I have a lot things that are missing and stolen from me, the work wasn't done as agreed, and I believe they got paid for some work but that work wasn't finished.
