We hired New Look Builders after extensive research and comparing 5 quotes from different companies for a major exterior renovation of our 4 bed 2.5 bath home - replacing our roof, siding AND windows. This is the first review I have ever taken the time to write down, because I feel so strongly about how NLB took care of us. This was the first big renovation project I have undergone and it was really important for us to trust the salesmen, the crew we let into our home (especially when we are not there), the quality of their work, and the legitimacy of their warranty. While all of the companies seemed very similar on the surface, NLB stood out to us immediately. The other 4 quotes came in with similar numbers, but they all outsourced the actual work (which makes is easy for contractors to ghost you if you run into issues in the future). I didn’t like that these quotes were a compilation of different companies and contractors for each job (they have “departments” for roof, another for windows, and another for siding - which is 3 companies, 3 contracts, 3 sets of contractors and crews, And 3 sets of warranties). Sounds overly complicated and to be honest a little too shady for me. So, after exhausting all the big brand companies you hear on the radio and see on TV, we met with NLB last. They are a local, family owned company that a friend referred to me in passing. They blew me away with their customization options and warranties. NLB was able to do the roof, siding, doors, and the windows, all in a few days. They offered many more product options, installed everything in house, and still beat competitor pricing, which simplified, expedited the entire process, and made the warranty straight forward and easy to understand. They replaced our entire roof (in one day!), all of our siding, doors (which was the most fun part to pick out) and 44 windows (one of which was a complicated new construction requiring an engineer to move some weight bearing pilings). Dan and Charly took care of everything. They were always available, always on site, and really went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. Did I say clean? I think I found one nail in the driveway after they left.I cannot express the gratitude I have for this company!! A little background on us: I wanted to move; my husband wanted to stay. The house needed work either way, we couldn’t have sold it in the condition it was in, so we agreed to do our own version of “love it, or list it”. We now have the sharpest house on the block, and I come home smiling every day and never want to move. When we are ready to replace our back deck, we will be coming back to New Look Builders for the job, cause guess what, they do that too!

They promised more than what they actually came through with to get the contract. They originally promised they would do the deck as well as the roof but in the end, they didn't do it. We have to find someone else. After making a promise they didn't keep it. I was not pleased with that. We had other people who were willing to take the entire contract and we chose them because they said they would do it but then backed out of it. Now we are left to look for someone who can do the decks because we don't know where the leaks are coming from. There was a problem though and they came back and fixed the problem.
