We had lots of storm damage and felt pressured by Manning's owner to do everything at once. We started with the roof and are very satisfied. We wanted to do more but in stages, but instead we received a 25 page quote and the owner wanted us to sign a contract for over $60,000 so he could negotiate with our insurance company. He said if they wouldn't pay for it all, he would let us out of a signed contract. This did not set well with us. I contacted the young man who came out to our house and met with the insurance adjuster to see if we could do 2 more things (replace the sliding glass door and AC unit) but only got a bid on a less quality door even though Manning said they are a Pella distributor. We had AC replaced by another contractor and I will submit the cost to our insurance adjuster.
It was a seamless, painless project from beginning to end.
Blake and the company works for is a 5 star company on knowledge and the crews that work for them.
They went out of their way to make sure the project was done right
A general contractor is no better than their available sub contractors. Manning has very high standards for his subs, which they all acknowledged. They value Manning's business and went above and beyond to make sure that not only the homeowner was satisfied, but also the high standards of Manning. A homeowner can't vet individual tradesmen just from yelp and survey sites - to me, this is one of the key reasons to use a GC and in particular, Manning.
They were very professional in what they did. They were fast and explained everything in detail. The only issue was the cleanup didn't go well. They left shingles on the roof and nails around the yard. I had been told that they would use a metal detector to get the nails and they have yet to do that. The installation looks really good. They did it in the timeframe that they said they would. I was very displeased with the cleanup and them leaving materials on the roof. I had to get on the roof to get them off.
Wonderful experience, quality work, great comminication
From start to finish John and his crew were exceptional.
I would not recommend Manning General Contractors.
I know there is a lot of competition in this space and Manning is, as far as I am concerned, the best in he business. They were excellent in the beginning with communication, follow-up, and with what they said versus what was delivered.
On-site, their workers were excellent. They were clean, prompt, professional, offered a variety of options, and had incredible patients in the process, which I think is a really big deal.
You get what you pay for. They might not be the cheapest out there, but when you get their product, you will be glad that you chose them!

I would recommend them to a friend because they're excellent to work with and their integrity is second to none.
They did a fabulous job and helped me through the whole process, from insurance to finishing up the roof. They were in and out of my house in one day.
They were competitive with other companies. They seemed more knowledgeable and professional.
