Jared, the original representative to the company was very knowledgeable, matter-of-fact, and professional. Understanding the application of a roof is not common information, especially to a client who is not in construction. Like all industries, there are people who are passionate about their work and others who are present to glean a paycheck. As a home owner, one expects the work to be as discussed. Not being an industry that this writer has knowledge, signing the form at the end of the job left one insecure. Was the job done correctly? We did have questions about a rubber collar and whether this had been replaced or was suppose to be replaced. Jared attempted to communicate with upper management. The latter did not offer the courtesy of letting us know he had come to inspect the roof, but came for a few minutes and left. The spouse said he would not have known the manager had arrived, had it not been for the security camera. Beings that the job concurs the cost of the supplies, we were dismayed at the amount of new nails, shingles, roof caps and underlying paper that were haphazardly discarded. As an owner, it was disconcerting to see the waste. Realizing, that I was paying for that disguarded product. It felt disrespectful. The product could have been donated to one of various organizations who take construction material. The owner should be offered this as an option given it is the owners dollar that is paying for the material.

If I had to do another roof I would call Koala T Exteriors first.

I'm glad I had them do it. It was not an easy job and there weren't many contractors that wanted it. They took the job on and overcame what others thought were obstacles in the job. They were willing to do it, were competitive on pricing, fair, and they gave some money back when the job was over. They could have justified keeping all the money but they didn't so that speaks pretty highly to them.
