This company markets itself as precise and hassle-free. My experience with JP Exteriors turned out to be neither of those things. I was given the impression of a much more professional and organized group of people by the sales rep. Instead, it seemed like the people showing up to do the work hadn't been adequately informed of the work to be done and needed a lot of direction from me, which was made more difficult by the language barrier and nobody to bridge that gap being present. Some things were promised that simply weren't delivered. Some work was done out of order, meaning my gable vents didn't get cleaned up and re-painted as promised. An exterior electrical outlet got replaced but the first electrician, which I'm not even sure they actually were an electrician, installed the box in the wrong order and just jammed the screws in, damaging the insert that secured the outlet in the center of the box. It had to be re-installed. The person who re-installed it didn't confirm power was going to the outlet properly, so it was left in an inoperable state. I could go on with an exhaustive list of things that went wrong, but I can easily say that by the end of having people out multiple times over several weeks to make corrections, along with the rounds of phone calls that shouldn't have been needed, I decided it wasn't worth any more of my time to keep trying to get them to "make it right" and I'd be better off handling it myself. It would have been quite different if it was just one or two small things, but it really felt like nobody was actually managing the work and making sure things were done according to specification; it was left to me to double-check and hold people accountable. I wish I would have gone with one of the other companies I talked to and I certainly tell others not to touch JP Exteriors.

I highly recommend JP Exteriors. I've used them for 3 major projects over the last 5 years and the results always exceeded my expectations. The 1st job was the replacement of my siding with Hardie plank and repainting. The quality of the installation was outstanding and the siding still looks new 5 years later. The 2nd job was a roof replacement of a 2 year old roof that had hail damage. I have extensive landscaping around my house and a pool that is very close to the back of the house. The contractor that put on the original roof filled up my pool with old roofing and killed a lot of my landscaping by pushing the old shingles off the roof. JP went above and beyond to minimize the impact to my yard. The crew moved all the old shingles from the back of the house to the front before pushing them off directly into the trailer, keeping everything out of the pool and off the landscaping. The last job was siding and roofing replacement on my mother's house. Same excellent results.

They provided professional service. I had one small issue with the flashing. They came out a day later to complete it. They finished within budget. I am likely to hire them again if I ever need work done.

Working with JP Exteriors was a joy. As far as contractors go it would be challenging to find a more professional and hard-working crew. Everyone I worked with met and exceeded expectations.

I would surely recommend JP to others and they will support this notion I think, as much as I do...finalize all requirements and get it all in written contract. Operate using change orders that are mutually agreed upon. This teamwork helped make my project a great success and kept my satisfaction level very high.

JP Exteriors is a highly skilled professional contractor. They were able to accommodate all the changes that I needed in a timely manner. All concerns were addressed to my satisfaction.

I would give it a 5, but one electrical outlet on the wall outside no longer work after they finished the job. I now have to call an electrician to fix it.

Furthermore, we do not have the words to describe how great the peace of mind is to no longer be worrying about all the damage potentially being done to our home because of poor siding. Absolutely fantastic experience. Great people and excellent quality workmanship. JP construction made sure everything was perfect and that I was happy with the results. A year later and my house still looks brand new. Highly recommend.
