I would leave a better recommendation if they complete the job. The problem is a roof ridge vent that was installed over my Florida room, they didn’t open it up underneath. They didn’t cut out and remove a 2”-3” section of wood so that the attic heat can escape. Yesterday was the first real test for the roof being 90 degrees and sunny and the best my ac system could do was 82 degrees and that’s continuous running for most of the day. Not acceptable. Another remedy for this heat problem and I’ve mentioned it to Nick and the foreman is to cut a horizontal vent above the dinning room door wall that adjoins the Florida room, this would let out a lot of the attic heat.
