Great job on our new roof..!

I have dealt with a lot of different businesses in my life. I can say the top experience I have had was with Harbor Construction.

I would recommend them to anyone, I was completely satisfied with their service sand the way they handle business.

I realized quickly how important it is to have good communication with the installing contractor when doing a roof project. Mike was knowledgeable, didn’t pressure us to sign a contract, answered all of my ongoing questions and made sure I understood how the project would unfold with additional costs when the shingles were removed for wood replacement, rafter tails, etc, and the need foe finishing work. I hadn’t been told those parts before which end up being significant costs so it is important to know what to expect. Mike and his crew were a pleasure to work with and Megan’s communication was prompt and efficient. It was the best experience we could have hoped for.

Harbor Construction was recommended by a friend for our roof replacement which involved removal and re-installation of a solar system. Harbor is run by Mike and Meghan Lafirst. Mike handles the job details while Meghan runs the office. Our interactions with both were excellent. Both were straightforward, honest, and very prompt. Mike recommended Vasco Solar for the solar removal and re-installation and worked with them to ensure very prompt action. The solar system was off in a day and the new roof on in a few more, with the new solar on in only another day. The whole process was completed far faster than I imagine possible, including all the proper inspections. So far no issues with either the new roof or solar.

Most definitely! I found notes in a drawer that I had called Harbor Construction a year before when we were hoping to repair our roof. Mike explained that their company only replaces roofs but then spent about 15 minutes on the phone answering questions and giving advice on how to go about repairing a roof. I was so impressed with his customer service for someone who wasn't even a customer. Part way through our roof replacement this year, it hit me that I was working with the same guy. So glad I happened to find them on Yelp again when we were ready to replace the roof!

The company responded to calls throughout the project and it was very easy to receive follow up and progress of the work.
