The first day they sent the guys out to take the roof off. They showed us the roofing colors months before. They never called and said anything about a color change. They already had an area of 20x20 ripped off and then they called and said they picked another color. I said you can't change the color on me while you're taking the roof off. So then I chose another color, and they said it wasn't in stock, then I chose another color, and they didn't have it either. It was like a bait and switch. They had plenty of time to call and tell me they didn't have the color, and would I like to wait. My girlfriend watched them take some plywood that had been out in the water and element for 4–5 years. They cut it out and put it somewhere on the roof. The put it where you couldn't see it from the attic. It was close to the outside, but not where I could see it. That really pissed me off. I paid them for new sheathing and plywood, that is what I should have gotten. They took something out that was rotten and put it up there. They could have gone to Home Depot or Ace Hardware right up the street. When we started the job, I told them we just had Clark Pest Control come out and close all the holes for rats. I told them they needed to go back in the same way that they were in there. I said if you can't do it, we will have Clark do it. It took them fifteen days to come out and do that. They did the back one right, but the front one I see every time I pull up. They changed the way the house looks when they did the one in the front. They also sold us on sanitizing. I watched them and how they were cleaning the attic up. They didn't do any sanitizing or anything. They said the guys came out, and they put 18 inches up there and never sanitized. We had a rat infestation, and that's why we needed it sanitized, and they never did that. It was an ongoing thing, I was pretty upset with them. They tried to bait me on the color change. I wasn't happy with that at all. The roof looks good, but we had problems the entire time. I wasn't trying to be ugly about things, but when you say you are going to do something, do it. They dropped the ball on a few things. The color change pissed me off.

I would highly recommend them. I liked the way they communicated with us and solved our problems.

They did a great job on the roof. But the professionalism was very subpar. What was supposed to be a 4 day job took over a month. There were a lot of headaches and they did not clean up well.

Garner Roofing did a great job! Having to work around the rainy weather was a challenge but they made sure after ripping off the old roof, they tarped it and then came back when it stopped raining. Thanks so much!
