They did a really good job. They did a porch. They did the best job and I am so happy with them. They sent me another project for my house. I will wait for them to come and make a deal.
DRS of Erie has inferior third-party contractors working for them.
They were amazing did a great job fast kept us in the loop with everything would recommend 100%
When DRS of Erie showed up to repair my house, they showed up in a timely manner and were early. They were very pleasant and professional. They started exactly when they said they would, and I was impressed with how effectively and efficiently they repaired my house. They started at 8 a.m. and were done by 4 p.m.They cleaned up, and my house was left beautifully.
Excellent service and professional people.
I am very dissatisfied. The work had to be redone several times. They would start a job, and then I wouldn't hear from them for up to six weeks or two months. It was crazy. They installed my storm door backwards and inside out. They left a big gap around the frame on my other door. They had to come back several times when they messed things up. The contract said thirty days, and it took them a year.
They were good and right on time. I have no complaints.
I suffered a house fire in 2018. As a referral from my insurance carrier having worked with DRS, and the gentleman I originally started working with, I agreed to enlist their services. I realize that in remodeling from fire isn’t easy, but overall project was roughly estimated to take 9 months. Mine took almost 16, and there were minimal setbacks. There were days where no one was working on the house, or they’d pull guys off the job to go somewhere else after I was told my house was first on the list. I picked out all new furnishings, did the legwork to get my estimates from various places for flooring, cabinetry etc. everything picked out and prepared for them. Vanities weren’t ordered when there was time to, the plumber employed installed first my secondary heating system incorrectly, then it wasn’t until jan2020, yes full year later and after all insulation was installed, walls drywalled did they address my baseboard heating system which we ran into problems because everything was now in the walls and we couldn’t rip out certain areas. Still working on getting the new boiler/valve system situated. The plumber put everything in but never addressed the conversion from wood boiler to propane boiler. I had to have TWO non paid plumbers come in better familiar with this system to say it wasn’t setup properly for new system. They had original plumber come in to fix that. Mind u covid was in full swing so there was limited availability due to quarantine. All the while DRS wanted my sign off on certificate of satisfaction so they could get paid. Original estimates didn’t include my sliding and front door. Those were replaced, but no communication was made as to my choice in quality or style. They were just put in and that’s that. I made them paint and replace the side lots, but still wasn’t the style to match newly remodeled home.
Just wish I had some business cards to hand out. His crew was fantastic.
I will only ever recommend AGAINST the use of DRS.
DRS of Erie was wonderful to work with, kept in touch with me, and the workmanship was outstanding. I would recommend this company to anyone that asked.
Took twice as long as quoted to complete. Poor clean up (have old shingles and nails littered throughout the property). Slow to respond to complaints about damage done by the staff to my siding.
