After 21 years my roof was in need of replacement, and I called 3 companies to provide estimates. I chose companies with A+ BBB ratings and good customer testimonials, and of the three, DR Roofing & Construction (DRC) was the middle estimate and the only one offering Owens Corning (OC) shingles (the others used GAF products). I chose DRC largely because of the warranty offered, the reputation of the OC products, and the friendly and businesslike (but not high-pressure) approach of the Roofing Specialist Jason Clark.The crew arrived on time by 6:30AM on installation day and started work just after 7:00 AM after the garbage skiff arrived in my driveway. The initial 6-man crew worked non-stop with almost military precision, and amazingly by 10:15 AM they were done and shutting down the operation!! I was at home throughout the whole time and actually thought that they were taking a break when things got quiet at that time. I went outside and looked up and there was a new completed roof, AND the yard was clean and mostly all put back in order! When I enquired how the 6-man crew could get the job done so fast, I was told that the crew had grown to 11 by the time the job was done - and I counted them too! Granted my house is not one with the largest or most complicated roof, but Jason had said that they would be done by 3:00PM, so to have it done in just under 4 hours after arrival was an amazing surprise. The rest of the payment and collection of remaining materials was completed by 1:00 PM.Now we have to see how the roof performs over the next 20+ years. Based on the experience to this point I have no hesitation in giving them 5 stars. Any problems and DRC said to give them a call, and I hope I don't have to do that regarding this job. Fantastic job overall by DRC - highly recommended.

DR Roofing and Construction (DRC), from start to finish, provided an outstanding experience. Our sales representative, Chris Rivers, was an absolute professional. He did a great job explaining the entire process. During the initial roof consultation, he not only performed a physical roof inspection but also took aerial drone photos of our existing roof. He was also the only representative from the five companies we spoke with who provided product samples of all the material they would install during our home consultation. Chris's proposal package was the most comprehensive out of the five companies we spoke to during this process. The proposal package included the following items: • Detailed Roof Report that included square footage and slope diagrams of the entire roof layout• Color product brochure of all the Owens Corning products they would be installing• Complete information packages on the Owens Corning product warranties• A copy of DRC's certificate of insurance• A copy of two proposals, providing a better and best option. o The first proposal included Ownes Corning "Oakridge" shingle (better)o The second proposal had Ownes Corning "Duration" shingle (best)DR Roofing and Construction was not the least expensive proposal package we received; however, Chris once again did his best to offer incentives, professional advice, and discounts to keep his proposals very competitive. Because of Chris's professional effort, my wife and I were willing to consider DRC's proposal. Then after reading several customer reviews, DR Roofing's BBB rating, and DR Roofing's Ownes Corning contractor rating, we decided they seemed like the winning option.The actual installation experience was perfect and went just as Chris explained it would. DRC had all the roofing material delivered to our residence the day before the installation. The site dumpster and two vehicles with the installation team arrived shortly after 6:00 AM on the installation day. Our sales representative, Chris Rivers, arrived on-site at 7:00 AM to walk the project with the installation team and ensured all the materials were on-site. Before anyone got on the roof, the installation team laid protective coverings around every side of my home to help capture the roofing debris and nails as they removed the old roofing material. They also laid a protective cover over my swimming pools to prevent debris from falling into the water. The installation team worked very well together. I could hear them talking and laughing over the soft Tejano music playing on the job site radio. One of the installation team members was quite the singer, and I laughed on several occasions as I could hear him singing along with the radio. Chris monitored the project's progress several times throughout the day and even sent me aerial drone pictures of the new roof progress when the installation team took their meal break. The roofing installation team completed the new roof installation and cleaned up the worksite by 4:00 PM. Chris performed a complete job site walkthrough with a magnetic sweeper to ensure they captured any random nails not captured by the protective covers laid out. We are now the proud owners of an Owens Corning "Total Protection Roofing System" installed by DR Roofing and Construction. DRC is a roofing professional who meets the highest standards and strict requirements of professionalism and reliability.
