Justin is their ace estimator. He toured my property inside and out, and created a thorough, detailed diagram for ordering materials and for the foreman and crew to follow while working.

The scheduler is Jake, who is very easy to work with. Since I needed to complete five items (regarding gutters, fascia, chimney, insulation, and cedar shakes) to prepare for the roof replacement, Jake was flexible in selecting a start date (in July 2025) that we all were comfortable with.

Bulmaro was the superb foreman, along with his assistant Oscar. When the “big day” arrived, Bulmaro and his crew were fully prepared and started on time. The crew worked very well together for two full days under Bulmaro’s exceptional leadership, and my new roof is beautiful and easily will outlast me – thanks to their professional craftsmanship skills.

The safety inspector was Steve, who came on-site twice (at least) and was satisfied with the crew’s work practices.

Upon completion, the crew did a remarkable job cleaning up – they left my property looking better than when they arrived!

Throughout the process, Cori provided solid office support. Everyone at Cloise & Mike is very good about returning phone calls and keeping the customer informed, and the entire team was very gracious in putting up with my many comments and questions.

Regarding price, Cloise & Mike are the “middle guys” – without too much effort, you can find roofing companies that are either cheaper or more expensive. Two of the things my father used to say to me while growing up were that “you get what you pay for” and “the quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten.” Cloise & Mike is all about top quality, and they really fuss over the details – a strong indication of their high level of professionalism.

Now I would like to give a “shout out” to Bryan, the site supervisor who visited my project several times over its two-day duration. After the old shingles were removed, there was much half-inch thick 4’ x 8’ “pressboard” still in fine condition to support the new shingles, and Bryan offered me the choice to leave them in place, which would have saved me $600 or $700 in plywood costs that we therefore wouldn’t have needed – and would have cut into Cloise & Mike’s bottom line. The point here is that any other company would have insisted that I follow the contract and pay for all of the plywood that I agreed to in writing, but not Cloise & Mike – they put the customer first! [Note: Although it was quite tempting to save the money, after discussion with Bulmaro and Bryan I decided to “stick with the plan” that Justin had created months ago, and replaced all the pressboard with new plywood].

I hereby give Cloise & Mike my strongest recommendation!
