Poor communication, disrespectful, subs were not professional, no vested interest in the project. Would not recommend A-1 to anyone.

I was excited about getting a new roof after only submitting an insurance claim for a repair for shingles that blew off during a wind storm. My excitement was soon dashed after the roofing crew arrived. Between foul language (they were Hispanic but swore in English very well) and leaving trash all over my property, I was no longer excited. I had to contact the company 3 times to get the left over shingle packs, , flashing, rolls of nails (nails were scattered throughout my yard) and sheets of plywood removed, that was just left piled up in my front yard. The crew also destroyed 12 out of 16 solar lights and decided to hide them in the bushes or threw them in my trash barrels. During a walk through inspection I brought to the attention to the "head guy", a section of my roof where the ridge caps and shingles were " lifted". He assured me this was normal and would lay down with the heat of the summer upon us. Here it is, October and they look exactly the same. What do I do if these start blowing off?!

Their representative came by the hotel room I had to stay at and showed me samples. They were always very cautious and safe, and wore their mask. They were very personable and polite, and kept me informed. Overall, they were awesome.

There was one person, John, who was exceptional. The overall communication, scheduling, and follow-through were horrible. It was like I had to be babysitting. It was poor communication. There was a lack of communication. The quality of the people was good. The customer experience engaging with communication was not good. I would not recommend A-1 General Contractors to anyone.

These guys were great. A crew was at my house the same day that 2 trees fell onto my roof. Angie came out within a day or 2, assessed the damage, and worked out an estimate. Covid had just kicked off, so things were crazy to begin with. The work was well coordinated and once the demolition started, everything fell into place rather quickly. I am happy with how it all turned out.

Timely, efficient, and very easy to work with.

Everyone that they scheduled to come into our home, were respectful, patient, and did a great job. They had a great work ethic.

The day of the storm, A-1 was out in our yard, hauling away tree debris and the gutters that were ripped off our house. They were very helpful, quick, and answered all of our questions! We would use them again!

From start to finish, A-1 General Contractors where great to work with. They are with you every step of the way until the work was completed. I am well pleased with all the work done to restore my house back to the original condition after a tree fell on it. My insurance company covered almost all of the damage. All and all, it was a win-win for me.

I was happy with A-1 General Contractors. I have no complaints!

The gentleman who handled everything was great about keeping in touch with me. He did a really good job. I had never heard of him before but I lucked out because he did a good job.

This is the first time we have ever had a house fire. A-1 was very professional, friendly and very good at explaining the process and providing information. They kept us up to date on all the aspects of the work.
