Important Factors - I signed the contract and wrote a check for the down payment on Saturday but on Monday I finally got a estimate from another contractor that I had been waiting for and he not only offered to do much more venting work with out charge but his final charge was $2000.00 less and he had a better vent cap product. I really feel bad about breaking my contract with Allen Contracting, but I have known the new contractor for many years and he has worked for me before and Allen Contractors could not drop his estimate as low and make a profit and the new contractor had 40 years experience. Allen Contracting did not do anything wrong and put a lot of time and work into get our business and was very patient with us and polite when I canceled my contract.

Areas Of Satisfaction - The spent a lot of time with us and came out three times to talk to us about the work to be done. They went into a lot of detail about how they would do the job and their estimate was reasonable for the work.

Quality Of Materials - I did not have any work done on my house. They came out to do a thorough inspection. I had no problems. The guy went above and beyond the call of duty.
