Areas For Improvement - Balistrieri Construction Co., Inc. fell short of my expectations in that they really didn't communicate when they were done. I didn't know if they were finished or not because nobody told me.

I am very pleased with the outstanding work that Balistrieri Construction Co has done with my new roof. Would highly recommend them for their work.

We are pleased to provide a recommendation for Balistrieri Construction. Your responsiveness, professionalism, knowledge and workmanship were first class. In short, we trusted you.As you know in August, Balistrieri completed the replacement of our roof with Owens Corning dimensional shingles. Our long time tree service contractor, Sal Leo, recommended that we contact your company after a large tree fell and destroyed a good portion of our roof. Keith took the time to visit our home immediately after the tree fell to patch holes in the roof temporarily until a complete replacement could be accomplished.In the next few weeks, we obtained estimates from several contractors for replacement of the roof. During that process, we learned that although Balistrieri's estimate was not the cheapest, Keith's knowledge and expertise far surpassed other contractors that we interviewed. For example, Keith was the only contractor to recommend and include in his estimate a venting system that was necessary in order for the Owens Corning warranty to be effective. Keith also assured us that he had installed this venting system many times and regularly attended Owens Corning training sessions at his own expense to stay current with the process. When we raised this issue with other contractors (after receiving lower estimates from them), they reluctantly acknowledged that the venting system was necessary for the warranty. However, the other contractors appeared to have little or no experience installing such a system and they immediately raised their estimates substantially to accommodate for the venting system that should have been part of their bids in the first place. In the end, our decision was easy. We received a fair price from Balistrieri and we had peace of mind knowing the work would be done well. Lisa provided several days advance notice of the crew's arrival. They arrived on the scheduled date and were professional, neat and courteous throughout the completion of the job. Keith consistently communicated the status of the job and the progress made each day.We enthusiastically recommend Balistrieri.
