ASAP Windows and Siding have quality ownership, management and, superintendent. An A-plus quality and an A-plus customer service. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
The Project Manager did not communicate well at all, nor did he effectively manager the job. My project took about a month when it should have taken a few days according to the salesman. Someone ordered the wrong materials which delayed the project, and all I was told (note that no one volunteered this info but did confirm it when I pushed) was that it was 'handled'. No apologies, no estimation of new completion date, just that 'it's handled'. The first crew only worked a few hours a day at best (and skipped a number of days, and I'm not counting days it rained). Slow and not good quality, which was confirmed by the second crew. The first person was fired only after I came to the office in person and complained, at which point I was told they were already going to let that person go after my job. THEN WHY PUT HIM ON MY JOB AT ALL?! Second crew was really good. It looks great in the end but good lord it was painful.
They did exactly what they said they were going to do. It looks awesome and I am thankful. They did what they needed to do and went above what was called for.
The crew never annouced their arrival. They came in removed the wiring and wall-mounted hose caddies; ripped the existing siding off; put the new siding up, broke my outside security lights and left off off the siding trim. They left without tacking the wires back to the walls and remounting the hose caddies. The shutters they were to replace were very thin and cheap and the crew manager had mounted them off-center. I told them to leave them off. No one came by to check on the quality of the work or check whether I was satisfied with the work. I had to call them repeatedly to get the installed and get the outside lights fixed. They replaced the light fixture but it still doesn't work.
Pretty expensive compared to other competitors, but I obviously was swayed by the sales pitch and decided to try them out. The installation of the siding was fine (pre-colored Hardy Plank). Looks great! Had one window replaced, and the contractor they got to do it did a fine job.Not sure if any rotted wood under the original siding was replaced; this was mentioned as a service during the sales pitch. I noticed the bottom of some garage trim was rotted, but merely had gotten painted over. The paint used on the trim and doors seems quite good. The job still isn't done yet; I had some gutters to be replaced, and they totally forgot about them (I needed to bring up the original work order that was signed back before the siding was ordered). I received a phone call that the gutters were going to be installed 03/31, but as of this writing (04/02/15) they have not been installed. Who knows? Maybe I'll get home from work and they will be there.
ASAP installers were courteous and very knowledgeable about the installment process. Their attention to detail is very good.
The installation is very satisfactory. Windows are all installed professionally. We had a little problem with opening some of the windows. The factory representative made an appointment to come and remedy our problem. They came on scheduled time and worked with us and resolved our concerned. We have one screen missing right now which is ordered by the office manager and will be here soon for installation.
The sales staff were informative and helpful. The project manager and crew worked hard in very cold conditions. The work site was not well managed... electrical panel left hanging off of wall 7 days after siding was completed... had to call and remind them several times that the job was incomplete. The outcome is great, the process was difficult. It would have been helpful to get a run down of what to expect throughout the process.
ASAP was a great choice when it was time to do the siding of my house. They were helpful with the selection of the best products and the work was done quickly, efficiently and with great attention to detail. The end result is amazing. Beautiful work!
I don't think my overall review will be favorable of the company. They really need to improve on their internal coordination and communication. They need to treat each customer based on that customers needs versus stereotyping into one category. ASAP is on the high end for siding and windows so the expectation is quality service and communication. They felt short here I could have paid far less for the whole work. The actual work that has been completed looks great. The sub contractors did good work and I'm sure once my backordered windows and doors come in and get installed I will have more favorable reviews to give. This survey/review is premature as the job is yet to be completed.
The original scheduled installation date got moved out a month but that was something I could live with even though I was disappointed. When the windows arrived, the installation went smoothly and the installers were courteous and very professional. Unfortunately, the screens did not arrive with the windows and it took me 6 weeks to get my screens after installation was completed. It took numerous calls to finally get my windows completed with screens.
ASAP initially underbid and withdrew their bid. We agreed to pay more. The quality of the work was excellent. I believe the quality of the results depends heavily on the subcontractor, and the subcontractors apparently work for all the siding contractors. If I were doing this again, I would try to find the good subcontractors and specify which one I want.
I would hire ASAP again in a heartbeat. They replaced all of our siding and trim with Hardie products and replaced all of our windows with Jeld-Wen products. They insulated with both batt and polyiso sheathing. Installation of everthing was done quickly and competently. They took care of any concerns we had, and communication was exceptional. Their level of customer service was among the best I've experienced. The house is quiet, tight, looks great and probably won't need painting for 30 years. While not the lowest cost option, I felt that the price was fair for the high quality materials, competent and beautiful installation, and the customer service. Highly recommended.
ASAP Windows and Siding offers a good product and a good service at a fair price. However, the project management is lacking when unsupervised workers are left on the site.
ASAP Windows and Siding sent very helpful employees over to do the evaluation and present the products. They came and did exactly what they were supposed to do. Everything worked well and the folks who did the installation did a very good job. We are very satisfied with product and workmanship and would definitely use them again and recommend them to our friends and family.
The overall satisfaction was good. They finished the job, kept their promise, and the value is fair. You will get what you paid for. The project management is the only thing lacking. One of the managers quit half way through and that is when they dropped the ball. Overall, I would recommend ASAP and I was overall very satisfied.
They provided a quality product that was installed in a professional manner and we are very happy with the results. The biggest surprise with having our new windows is how much quieter the house is, we didn't anticipate that and are very pleased.
Overall ASAP has done a decent job of installing our siding, roof, windows, and gutters. They have doing a superb job on the windows, but they have not yet completed some aspects of that project, such as the gable fans. The siding is basically competed but some aspects of the contract are not completed. With ASAP there was a lack of project management, a lack of quality assurance, a lack of customer service, and a lack of follow up. They should not rely on the installers to do the jobs here in Houston. They need to have a project manager or someone from ASAP here to ensure that the customer is happy with the job.
ASAP Windows and Siding was more expensive than other providers, the level of work certainly met my expectations. There definitely is value in going with someone who can provide a good job.
The overall siding expierence was 'ok'. This was our first siding expierence and with reading the reviews on ASAP we were excited but were disappointed in the end. The communications between the project manager and his employees is lacking a whole lot. The commuication between the homeowners and project manager lacked as well and were told things just to keep us happy when we had concerns. The main issues happen outside the ASAP office. Glad to have the job finished and the siding looks good. It is also nice to know that they offer a lifetime warranty on istallation. And the financing they offer is good too.
They were the most courteous and most understanding people. They were on time and followed up on everything to perfection. They went above and beyond to get the job done absolutely perfect, not just right but perfect.
I would recommend ASAP Windows and Siding. I thought the Sales Representative was very friendly and courteous. We appreciate their service and are very pleased with our windows!
Overall the quality of the windows and the installation work was good, however the job was left incomplete. When I reached out to express dissatisfaction, I took a while to get a response, and the response I received was unacceptable.
Areas Of Satisfaction - Quality product and looks good
Areas Of Satisfaction - I was most satisfied with the quality of the product. The contractor did a marvelous job of installing. They were very organized and had a great crew. They knocked the job out in one day. I am very satisfied. They came back to fix one very minor issue, and they took care of it post haste.
