Saussy Burbank is nationally recognized for building homes with distinctive achitectural details and innovative floorplans. Saussy Burbank builds in Charlotte, Raleigh-Durham, Chapel Hill, NC and Charleston, SC. They have consistently ranked extraordinarily high in customer satisfaction, attributing their success to commitment to a guided principle: That each home should be unique and offer the same quality design and craftsmanship, regardless of size or price point.
GuildQuality customer satisfaction surveys enable homeowners to rate their contractor on a scale of zero to four (with zero being the worst and four being the best) in all sorts of categories. Our members can publish a summary of those answers here on their profile page, displaying a bar for as many or as few questions as they like. The score for each category indicates the percentage of survey respondents who answered a three or four to that particular question.

We display two types of written homeowner feedback on GuildQuality member profile pages: Comments and Reviews.
In response to our customer satisfaction surveys, homeowners share lots of comments about construction quality, communication, or any other question asked in the survey. Guildmembers can selectively publish these comments here on their profile page.
Reviews are different than comments. These are star ratings that homeowners ask us to publish, and they come with a written description of the type of experience they had working with their contractor. We publish all of the reviews we receive: positive and negative alike.
Overall we are very happy with our home, after living in it for one year. We do continue to have issues with cupped hardwood floors, and Saussy Burbank needs to do a better job of installing flooring and standing behind the quality of the install. This issue should not occur with a new home at this price point, and we were basically brushed off when we complained. Otherwise the staff has been great at responding to and fixing any issues we've had with the home during our warranty period, and we will always be appreciative of the support we received throughout the building process.
After we purchased our house, which was already built, we had some extra work done on the house and we did it all long distance… not easy. The people at Saussy were extremely helpful and patient and had a “it’s not a problem†attitude. It was a pleasure working with them and everything turned out just like I wanted it.
We love our new Saussy Burbank home! The open design kitchen/dining/living area and the tall ceilings and porches was just what we were looking for. Saussy Burbank was 100% attentive to our needs throughout the process and we could not have been happier with our purchase. Saussy Burbank also stepped up to the plate when our home was burgalized the evening of the day we had closed. Our back window was smashed to gain entry and our fridge was stolen leaving a cut water line to flood our entire first floor living area damaging cabinets and the hardwood floors. My wife and I discovered this upon our arrival to the house 1 hour before the moving truck was to come the next morning. Saussy Burbank had sold us the house and did not owe us anything but a quick call to Jason Burger our Saussy Burbank Field Manager and he came to the rescue with the President of Saussy Burbank Bob Zweier. They installed a new window within a couple of hours and helped us get through the initial cleanup of water and broken glass as the moving truck pulled up. Not only did they help us with the initial cleanup and they agreed to lead the renovation that we were now under. Again they did not have to do this and they did not do it from a commercial perspective. Their goal was to get our house back to where it was when we bought it less than 24 hours before. Thanks to Saussy Burbank for leading and getting our home back to the beautiful home it was the day we bought it. I can not thank them enough and would 100% recommend this Company to anyone looking for a new home. Did I tell you we love our new home?!?!
Experience with working with Saussy Burbank was very good. The people we interacted with were accessible, forthcoming, and professional. The crews building the house were courteous, but there were several cosmetic issues that needed to be fixed or re-done. Good news is that these cosmetic problems have been resolved very quickly and without question. Previous build experience was with a custom builder, and it was somewhat frustrating that only limited customization to the floor plan was allowed.
