what could have been a huge stressor was avoided because of the professionalism and availability of all assoc with Whitman homes. They listened to what we wanted and delivered. We came to trust and respect them all and have highly recommended them. our only regret is the challenge manipulating our vehicles into the garage due to very limited space.
Building our dream home with Whitman Homes was the best decision we ever made. Not only can we enjoy our home daily but know the quality and craftsmanship will withstand the test of time. Thank you Whitman homes!
Whitman Homes allowed us to add options to our house which made all the difference to us in enjoying the house after moving in. However, we noted that as the construction phase ended and we neared closing, their interest and attention noticeably faded. They need to check in with the buyer a little more during the crescendo of closing. We also felt that selecting additional options on the electrical layout was too cumbersome. Luckily we received advice at Yale Electric during this process, which got us across this milestone. There needs to be more guidance during this process.
We highly recommend Whitman Homes to anyone looking for a contractor to build their home. Their work is first rate and they had the flexibility to add important options to the various features in the house. Importantly, they held our hand during the complexity of the construction process.
It has been a very pleasant and professional experience. I am very pleased with my home. I think that they are very ethical people to work with. I think they build a good finished product.

All of the Guildmember information we publish at guildquality.com has been provided to us either by the member (such as pictures of work and biographical information) or by their customers via one of our surveys (customer comments, performance summaries, and reviews).
All of the customer feedback that we publish is derived from the customers we survey. Our Guildmembers provide us with their customers' contact information, we conduct the surveys, they receive the feedback, and -- if they have chosen to make their feedback public -- the member's performance report is automatically updated to reflect the response. Members may choose to publish a summary of either all of their feedback or their most recent twelve months of feedback.
In addition to average performance ratings and survey statistics, GuildQuality also publishes two types of customer commentary: Comments and Reviews.
A comment has been provided by a survey respondent in response to any one of the survey questions we ask, and a member may or may not choose to publish it. Often customers provide unsolicited testimonials or compliments, and members can choose to share these comments in their published performance report.
Many Guildmembers choose to participate in our formal review process. These members have added an additional question on their survey: "If you'd like to provide a public review of your experience working with the Guildmember, please share it here." In contrast to comments, which a member selects to have published, we publish all reviews, provided they are at least 30 words long. With each review, we include a one to five star rating provided by the survey respondent.
