We really enjoyed working with the professionals at Custom Home Exteriors. When we met Brett , he was well prepared and answered all of our questions. And when we met Scott, he took the time to walk us through our home repair and roofing project. He not only met our timetable in finishing the project but also far exceeded our expetations. Brett also returned after finishing the project to vacumn the landing in our attic where some debris fell. Their great customer service coupled with their fine workmanship puts they at the top of our list for home improvements and repair.

Our house needed a new roof, new siding and a new deck. As I had never needed to make these decisions before, it was a daunting project for me. Custom Home Exteriors made me aware of all of the available choices in materials, styles, colors, etc. and helped me through the entire process. Lucas Dalton, the salesman and site manager was the epitome of patience and understanding. He helped me determine what work I wanted done and what I wanted the finished product to be. He helped me design the deck and was invaluable in helping me decide on size, materials, colors, etc. Vico, the deck builder was also great. He needed to understand what I wanted, based on 4 pictures I submitted withdifferent aspects I wanted for my deck shown in each picture. Vico managed to pull it all together with speed and pretty close to the picture I had in my mind. I am extremely happy with the service I received.

I considered five different contractors before deciding on Custom Home Exteriors. Although theirs was not the least expensive price for the job, I always felt I was getting good value for my money. When the quality of the materials is considered as well as the professionalism of the crews, I feel I got a bargain.

I must state that customer service is not dead. The personnel that serviced me were very helpful and eager to answer and advise on any of my questions and comments. Instead of trying to get me to do thing their way as most contractors do, they listened and responded to my every request. This could give customer service a good name.

In this report, Custom Home Exteriors has published a summary of the customer feedback they've received since they joined GuildQuality in August 2010. In that time, 60 out of 95 customers (63%) responded to a GuildQuality satisfaction survey, with the most recent response in January 2012.

2012 Guildmaster Application

Custom Home Exteriors is a candidate for a 2012 Guildmaster Award. The Guildmaster Awards recognize exemplary service among home builders, remodelers, developers, and home services contractors. Click here to review this year's qualifications.

To be eligible for consideration, Custom Home Exteriors must survey all of their customers.

If you are a recent customer of Custom Home Exteriors and have not yet received a customer satisfaction survey, please let us know. We need your feedback in order to conduct a thorough review of Custom Home Exteriors's application.

About GuildQuality and our Guildmembers

Homebuilders, remodelers, real estate developers and home services companies pay GuildQuality for customer surveying and performance reporting. We refer to these companies as GuildQuality Members, Guildmembers, or members.

Our service helps Guildmembers monitor customer satisfaction and -- if they choose to publish survey feedback on our public website at guildquality.com -- articulate the quality of their service for prospective customers.

All of the Guildmember information we publish at guildquality.com has been provided to us either by the member (such as pictures of work and biographical information) or by their customers via one of our surveys (customer comments, performance summaries, and reviews).

Surveys, Comments and Reviews

All of the customer feedback that we publish is derived from the customers we survey. Our Guildmembers provide us with their customers' contact information, we conduct the surveys, they receive the feedback, and -- if they have chosen to make their feedback public -- the member's performance report is automatically updated to reflect the response. Members may choose to publish a summary of either all of their feedback or their most recent twelve months of feedback.

In addition to average performance ratings and survey statistics, GuildQuality also publishes two types of customer commentary: Comments and Reviews.

A comment has been provided by a survey respondent in response to any one of the survey questions we ask, and a member may or may not choose to publish it. Often customers provide unsolicited testimonials or compliments, and members can choose to share these comments in their published performance report.

Many Guildmembers choose to participate in our formal review process. These members have added an additional question on their survey: "If you'd like to provide a public review of your experience working with the Guildmember, please share it here." In contrast to comments, which a member selects to have published, we publish all reviews, provided they are at least 30 words long. With each review, we include a one to five star rating provided by the survey respondent.
