Mackey Builders is not your average home remodeling company. Stacey Mackey has been a remodeling contractor for over 25 years and holds a Masters of Fine Arts. Stacey and his team excel at taking your vision from a napkin sketch all the way to a finished home that embodies the best of form and function. We’ve worked hard to develop our “listening skills” and know what questions to ask so that we can translate your design dream into a beautiful reality. Most people think that remodeling jobs are hugely expensive but we do a wide range of projects.

I hired Mackey Builders to turn a former garage into an in-law studio. We have Thermofoil kitchen cabinets that were white but have yellowed over the last 15 years. Can you paint Thermofoil?

Painting over thermo foil will not be a long term solution. It is a smooth non-porus material. Your best bet is to replace the doors. There are lots of options today that weren't available a few years ... read more
