Freeman in 1992 in response to a need by general contractors and spec home builders for a company that could handle complex architectural designs, deliver a higher level of quality, and offer more complete management and customer services for their high-end custom home projects in the Silicon Valley and the San Francisco Bay Area Peninsula. S.R. Freeman has since distinguished itself as one of the finest framing outfits in the area. It has enjoyed steady growth since its inception due to strong, ongoing, collaborative relationships with its clients, for whom, S.R. Freeman is always their first choice.
Overall, the team did a great job. They started promptly in the morning and worked productively throughout the day. The site was always kept clean. Communicating with the team was easy and responses were timely. Dean, Jose and William did a great job in the field, while Ed did an excellent job of pricing, planning and reasonably managing change orders. The subs that followed framing have all commented on the quality of the framing work. The head of the Los Altos building department performed the rough inspection and specifically called out the quality of the framing.
Price, speed, quality and ability to apply common sense to solve problems that arise during the building process. I had high expectations from SRF and you delivered on all of them.
It helped to know the Project manager, going into this project. I got the support needed to move this along and any issues were handled immediately and to my satisfaction.
