GuildQuality customer satisfaction surveys enable homeowners to rate their contractor on a scale of zero to four (with zero being the worst and four being the best) in all sorts of categories. Our members can publish a summary of those answers here on their profile page, displaying a bar for as many or as few questions as they like. The score for each category indicates the percentage of survey respondents who answered a three or four to that particular question.

We display two types of written homeowner feedback on GuildQuality member profile pages: Comments and Reviews.
In response to our customer satisfaction surveys, homeowners share lots of comments about construction quality, communication, or any other question asked in the survey. Guildmembers can selectively publish these comments here on their profile page.
Reviews are different than comments. These are star ratings that homeowners ask us to publish, and they come with a written description of the type of experience they had working with their contractor. We publish all of the reviews we receive: positive and negative alike.
We had the pleasure of working with Craig Gates, Brett Dawson and Bob Miozzi. They are the best kind of people and so nice to work with. We felt like our good friends were building our house! We will always appreciate their work ethic and kindness.
I love that they utilize the Builder Trend App so that we could follow the punch list. They stuck to the schedule. We will never forget how they worked hard to get us into our home before our baby arrived!
My Payne & Payne built home is beautiful and well made. The unique touches I was able to incorporate made it unlike any other home. The team I worked with were always open to including any idea I had, even when I insisted on a custom carved marble fireplace that took 5 months and shipped from Italy. They even found a blacksmith to recreate a wrought iron balcony from a picture I found on the internet. If I had an idea, they did their best to make it work. The end result is a beautiful and clearly custom home I am proud to show off.
You won't find a more organized and professional staff than at Payne & Payne. We had a wonderful experience designing our new home with their architect Mike Caito and Eric Payne. The processes they have in place to move you along the stages of building made the experience less stressful. We are in the process of building our second custom home with them. We would not have chosen another builder because our first experience was so good.
I was very satisfied with their attention to detail and craftsmanship. I was also very impressed with the tradesman that they use. They were very neat. I also liked that everyone was very friendly.
We remain optimistic that the final product of our extensive home renovation will be to our liking and enjoyment, though it is not yet complete. Day-to-day on-site management, subcontractor management and issue resolution has been excellent. Overall project management, communication, follow-up and cost accounting have been lacking and frustrating. Our project began in July with our initial deposit. We have never seen a formal change order, been invoiced for a draw (in spite of asking), and (on January 20) do not know where we stand against our budget. P&P used buildertrend.com to maintain a project schedule, which was rarely updated and we stopped referring to it. We encourage P&P to strengthen the off-site components of their business to complement a strong on-site presence.

Since I built a custom home, the design of the home was of utmost importance to me. While working with Dan Posar, he listened to what was important to me and created exactly what I envisioned resulting in a functional home for me now and well into the future. Annie Payne's expertise on the exterior and interior finishes was very helpful as this is not an area of strength for me. I spent many hours with her and never felt rushed to finish my selections. Quality of construction and cutting edge practices to produce an energy efficient home were also important. I am impressed that Payne and Payne are pioneers in this area, continually striving to improve upon their best practices. As this was my first time building a home, I appreciated the communication that all the team members provided to help me have a better understanding of the building process from start to finish. Will Payne sent me a weekly update and Mark Verdova checked in with me periodically. I always felt that I could call anyone of them to share a concern or question. Nick Mueller was diligent about keeping to a timeline so that my house was finished on time.
