We display two types of written homeowner feedback on GuildQuality member profile pages: Comments and Reviews.
In response to our customer satisfaction surveys, homeowners share lots of comments about construction quality, communication, or any other question asked in the survey. Guildmembers can selectively publish these comments here on their profile page.
Reviews are different than comments. These are star ratings that homeowners ask us to publish, and they come with a written description of the type of experience they had working with their contractor. We publish all of the reviews we receive: positive and negative alike.
I was most satisfied with the overall experience. They were wonderful to work with and they were consciences and patient with us when issues arose. We are still tying up a few loose ends but I am overjoyed with the end result. I know that if we had gone with someone else we would not have the results...
The project consultant listened but did not hear what we wanted from our remodel. We were told that things could not be done the way we had requested and that all permits would be obtained. The VP of the company was not even interested enough at our final meeting to go look at the cabinets we were unhappy...
There were multiple issues that complicated this master bathroom remodel. During the design phase, we discovered that the McGarry’s had completed several previous projects without obtaining appropriate permits; and they tasked us with creating a design that would be code compliant but not require a permit – which we did. The final design was approved by the McGarry’s prior to signing a Build Agreement. Further, costs increased during the course of the project due to the clients’ decisions to upgrade finishes, all of which were documented and signed by the McGarry’s. What may have contributed to the clients’ dissatisfaction is the fact that while the project was in progress, Mrs. McGarry was diagnosed with cancer and had to undergo treatments, which resulted in scheduling delays. At the completion of the project, the McGarry’s balked at paying for the upgrades they requested, authorized and received.
This desgin company is rated number one in Scottsdale and has been demonstrated by the professional team that interfaced with us on our dream for a contemporary master bath with a soakinig tub and shower. The soaking tub with a build-in heater controls the water temperature to the temperature required...
Be very careful when you deal with Legacy. Make sure that all changes are in righting and you are informed of any additional costs. Legacy is very unwilling to concede a reduction in the contract price even though you can prove the mistake was made by Legacy. If you want a project to go smooth, find another contractor.
Overall I had a positive experience working with Legacy Design Build. The quality of the workmanship as well as the quality of the subs that were brought in for the work was great. A couple of areas that fell short of expectations was around keeping to schedule as well as the timeliness of communications...

When sunken living rooms were the rage, many of them were below grade. Later on some decided that being on all one level was more desirable so it became popular to fill them with concrete to the level ... read more
I have trim boards to install that will cap over exposed block foundation. What ways should I attach these? They will be primed and painted when installed.
So that I can better answer your question, can you further explain what you mean when you say "cap over". I am thinking that perhaps you are referring to the horizontal trim piece between your siding ... read more
