Woodard was established in 1946 by Earl and Nancy Woodard. When Earl returned from WWII, he and Nancy Woodard decided to start a carpet cleaning service. Earl worked out of a canvas-covered trailer – pulled by their only family car. The company is still family-owned today by Earl’s son, Charlie Woodard. Charlie’s son, Justin has joined the company and is leading the third generation of family into the business.
Woodard is the largest and most experienced independent disaster recovery firm in the Midwest. We serve local, regional and national clients, specializing in fire restoration, water damage repair and reconstruction services. Our clients include residential, commercial and industrial. Woodard has provided disaster recovery services for clients affected by floods, hurricanes and tornados. We are the preferred provider for most major insurance companies.
Woodard’s headquarters are located in St. Louis, MO and includes five separate buildings, housing our administrative offices, fire and water restoration offices, and carpet/rug/furniture cleaning operations.
