The whole design/build process made it easy. They kept on-schedule and to the budget. There were no surprises.

The design/build process was fantastic. Working with Tom and Josh extensively upfront enabled us to design a fantastic space within our budget. The entire team helped us through the "value engineering" process, and ultimately we got more for our money than we thought possible. The finished product is awesome!

We were very impressed by the cleanliness of the site during the project. We had moved out of our home during construction and even then the site was in great shape each evening when we stopped by. Great job!

The project manager paid close attention to the timeline and the progress being made on site. Lead carpenter assigned to project was perfect for us!Designer had great sense of style and amazing ability to "read" me.

The on-site construction person and the project manager were top notch. They both had a way of working with us that made us very comfortable and confident that our project would be completed to our satisfaction. They worked hard, were always on time and made us feel we were their number 1 priority. They showed a genuine interest in our ideas and presented other ideas for consideration when they saw possible issues or better ways to do things. We appreciated all their efforts that allowed us to remain in our home during the project.

The workmanship was outstanding! They took care to ask for my ideas and to incorporate my preferences into their highly professional design and finished product. The price was fair, and the price stayed fair throughout. All team members were courteous and very easy to work with.

Honesty, quality, integrity. Great people. They stand by their work. I never worried, for a second, that things wouldn't be done, and done correctly. I'd recommend them without a qualm.

This was our second major renovation with Melton. We hired them for this because we knew that we could trust them to do an excellent job even when we were not in town to check on them. We have nothing but praise for their professional work on all levels!!

They guarantee quality materials. When one cabinet door was ever so slightly warped they ordered a new one to replace it. Who can ask for more?

Here's just one example: when we had a leakage problem (relating to some previous work done by Melton), Tony & the team investigated and made the necessary repairs, which involved some work on our roof. Later, during a windstorm, there were unusual loud noises coming from the roof. I wondered whether something wasn't right with the previous repairs. Again, Tony checked it out. It was, in fact, tree branches scraping against the roof. Now, he certainly didn't have any responsibility to take care of this. But Tony made sure that the branches were trimmed. That is the kind of commitment and service that Melton delivers time and again.(5) The finished product - my master bath - exceeded my expectations. I can't say it any more plainly ... I love it!

We trust Melton to provide quality work, and on this project Melton did not disappoint.

I really liked the foreman. He was available, patient, and gave good attention to detail. Also, the quality of the work was very high.

Melton has project management down to a science, and I think that was handled very well on my projects, as there were some tricky coordination issues. They worked within a fairly tight window according to our needs. I also feel that working with a designer up front was helpful in a lot of ways, to help guide me with choices, and to raise issues that would have otherwise escaped my notice (and possibly resulted in costly mistakes). I also liked the fact that both my designer and my project manager were advocates and mediators for me, when dealing with suppliers and subcontractors.

I think Melton offers a fantastic quality and service and I hope they keep up the good work.

I have an old home and I worried that any an addition we added wouldn't fit the house. Melton's design team really made the difference. Our addition looks like it has been part of our home for the last century. The execution of that design was also done with care and attention to detail. I'd use Melton again in a heartbeat. In fact, I plan on it.

I couldn't believe how much attention they paid to keeping both the inside and outside of the house clean. This was a priority for my wife and Melton's staff clearly understood that.
