Since 1977, Harcrest Homes has won over 92 Professionalism Awards from the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association, including Greater Atlanta Builder of the Year in 1996 (awarded to Carl Riden, founder of Harcrest Homes).
In 2000, Harcrest was recognized nationally by Builder Magazine and the National Association of Home Builders with the Lee Evans Award for Business Management Excellence.

The whole buying experience was very simple and easy. They helped us a lot. This was our first time building a home, and we were pleasantly surprised by the whole process.
They made my home buying experience a great experience and they are all wonderful, I'm very happy with them. I could not have asked for more. Whatever I asked for, they took care of, they are the best.
Josh, Mike, Jeff, are excellent. Mary Ellen, the new home representative was great. All of them are very awesome, always there when I needed them.
The overall process has been outstanding. In a time when most builders are looking to cut as many corners as possible, the overall attention to detail, commitment to quality, ensuring customer satisfaction, and general attitude to work together are some of the items that definitely sets Harcrest apart from the others. From all the people we know, we do not know of anyone saying their home building experience being as pleasurable and/or pain-free as ours.
The assistance, patience, and responsiveness that we received from Maryellen Peterson is impeccable. We definitely cannot express enough praise on the incredible job she has done to ensure we were truly satisfied with our home. We were always greeted with a very warm and inviting welcome on each and every visit to the community. Jon Jackson and Josh Hill were very accommodating and flexible to ensure the home construction met and satisfied our vision of a home. They also took time to explain, thoroughly exceed expectations, and fully satisfied even the finest of details.
I have already recommended some friends.
Overall my experience in dealing with the staff has been pleasurable and in general they have been timely in responding.

They are the most organized builder I have ever worked with. (This is my fourth home.)
The Sales staff were great. I had a lot of questions during contracting and they were always able to help. John/Danny/Josh were EXCELLENT to work with throughout the construction process. I couldn't have asked for better people to work with! We really appreciate their responsiveness and cooperation! We would definitely build with Harcrest again, and will recommend them to our friends.
I recieved excellent service, especially from Josh, Mary Ellen, Syd and Charlotte.
Some of the subs weren't as timely as I wanted. Harcrest built a great home.
