For filler, following is a description of the early history of the Graham Clan, courtesy of wikipedia.

The early history of the Grahams of Scotland remains complex. Legend suggests that the Roman Antonine Wall, which forged the divide between Roman Britannia and the unconquered highlands, was broken by Graeme (sic.), a great Caledonian chief, as he drove the Roman legions from his lands. This, unfortunately, might never be proven, although Roman texts vaguely reference a Graeme in similar context.

Theories attempt to explain the ancient roots of the clan with the postulation that similar names from the Celtic "Greamach" (grim) or the Saxon "Gram" (fierce) were absorbed into a larger entity to form a united clan. Scottish legend also suggests that the daughter of a Gryme married a King of the Scots, Fergus II, and that the family consequently holds exceptionally old royal ancestry beyond that later gained. The Celts and Saxons disappeared or were swallowed up by the descendants of "Lez Grames" of Norman origin. Some say that the original Grahams in Scotland were Picts, established long before the Normans or Saxons came to Scotland, making Graham one of the most ancient families in all of Britain.

Though the above theories differ as to how the clan was established in Scotland, solid information has established a Norman descent of the original Grahams. These Normans were originally of the Vikings who landed on Scottish soil in ancient times and thus a Graham lineage goes back into Scandinavia.

From the records available, the first Graham known in Scotland was Sir William de Graham (or De Graeme), a knight who accompanied David I, England's premier baron, on his journey north to claim the Scottish crown in 1128.[1] William De Graeme personally witnessed the signing of the charter founding the Abbey of Holyrood in the same year 1128. From this line descended the Montrose line of Grahams, one of the most distinguished families of Scotland and perhaps all of Britain. This knight might have originated from a place listed as "Graeg Ham" in the Domesday Book of William the Conqueror in 11th Century in England - now the town of Grantham.

These guys are committed to Ansley Park. They've had a hand in all the major renovations in the community and their work has had a truly positive impact on the neighborhood.

I chose this company because they had the best price. I regretted this choice throughout the project. They were extremely slow & disorganized. My house was never kept clean & they did not respect our space. This company did not communicate with me at all & I was constantly trying to get answers as to when they would be finished. They project took an additional two months. The final outcome is nice, but the process was terrible. I don't recommend!

I really enjoyed watching the installers work. They were also really nice and answered any questions I had about their process and the products.

We would recommend Geoffrey to anyone. Our friends and neighbors have been wowed by the craftsmanship, and the attention to detail in our 1920s home. There were some bumps in the road with the schedule, but these are easy to fix and some of the communication issues may have been our fault.

We could not be happer with our renovation. We were treated with great respect during the project, we knew what would be happening every day, and the end product is perfect.

Listen up people, This man is not to be trusted. You always hear the horror stories of contractor relationships gone bad, but nothing could have prepared me for this experience. He's a liar, cheater, and fraud. He deserves to have his license revoked and he should be sent to jail! STAY AWAY FROM GQ Builders!

I'm not an easy client. That said, GQ Builders did a good job of discovering my needs and ultimately, crafted a beautiful project. However, the should do a better job of setting proper expectations upfront.

Run far away from this company! Though they may be reasonably priced and the only contractor in Deer Lodge, it is not worth your money. We have had more problems with the project they completed and will have to hire someone to come back to fix their mistakes. We are considering taking legal action because they caused so many problems and refuse to make them right. They are out to steal your money and will lie to you like they did to us.

Guildmember since 2007

As a GuildQuality Guildmember, GQ Builders relies on our customer surveying to help them deliver an exceptional customer experience.

We have surveyed customers on behalf of GQ Builders in Anchorage, AK; Juneau, AK; Walnut Creek, CA; Athens, GA; Atlanta, GA; Peachtree City, GA; Reston, VA;

In this report, GQ Builders has published a summary of the customer feedback they've received since they joined GuildQuality in November 2007. In that time, 330 out of 454 customers (73%) responded to a GuildQuality satisfaction survey, with the most recent response in April 2012.

About GuildQuality and our Guildmembers

Homebuilders, remodelers, real estate developers and home services companies pay GuildQuality for customer surveying and performance reporting. We refer to these companies as GuildQuality Members, Guildmembers, or members.

Our service helps Guildmembers monitor customer satisfaction and -- if they choose to publish survey feedback on our public website at guildquality.com -- articulate the quality of their service for prospective customers.

All of the Guildmember information we publish at guildquality.com has been provided to us either by the member (such as pictures of work and biographical information) or by their customers via one of our surveys (customer comments, performance summaries, and reviews).

Surveys, Comments and Reviews

All of the customer feedback that we publish is derived from the customers we survey. Our Guildmembers provide us with their customers' contact information, we conduct the surveys, they receive the feedback, and -- if they have chosen to make their feedback public -- the member's performance report is automatically updated to reflect the response. Members may choose to publish a summary of either all of their feedback or their most recent twelve months of feedback.

In addition to average performance ratings and survey statistics, GuildQuality also publishes two types of customer commentary: Comments and Reviews.

A comment has been provided by a survey respondent in response to any one of the survey questions we ask, and a member may or may not choose to publish it. Often customers provide unsolicited testimonials or compliments, and members can choose to share these comments in their published performance report.

Many Guildmembers choose to participate in our formal review process. These members have added an additional question on their survey: "If you'd like to provide a public review of your experience working with the Guildmember, please share it here." In contrast to comments, which a member selects to have published, we publish all reviews, provided they are at least 30 words long. With each review, we include a one to five star rating provided by the survey respondent.
