Initially I intended to build the deck myself. I am so glad that I chose Degnan Design Builders. Anthony, the carpenter, addressed details that I never would have noticed. My deck is beautiful and I am glad I left the work to a true craftsman.
Anthony, the carpenter, is a true craftsman. It was amazing to watch him work. His knowledge and skill quickly put aside any ideas I had about doing this project myself.
I had concerns about the project itself because it was due to shortfalls from a previous builder. It was an unknown. They addressed my concerns by being very direct and explaining everything that needed to be done.
I was most satisfied in that they took time to explain what they were doing and why the did what they did. They were efficient in making sure the important decisions were made.
They didn't fall short in any area.
In my entire life, they have been the best contractor that I have ever dealt with and I have a lot of rental property.
They are all business, they are honest and you can expect that what they tell you will happen will happen. I enjoyed dealing with them and I liked the way they communicated with me.

Abe Degnan was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. He offered alternatives, modifications and great recommendations to make things work within our budget.

In our kitchen, which was long and narrow, there wasn't a lot of extra space to work with. The design turned out to be very practical and very beautiful.

We were concerned about costs. Their estimates were pretty accurate. When we decided to change our minds on a few things like appliances and the kind of bathtub we were going to put in, they were really good at recalculating those differences and keeping us within our budget.
The electrical work, the kitchen remodeling, and the bathroom remodeling were the most satisfying parts of my experience. We had knob and tube wiring so they had to tear out all this old dangerous wiring.
They didn't fall short. They actually exceeded. We had a good recommendation on them before we hired them. They are probably the best in the business, as far as I can tell.
It was more involved than I thought. They were really good all the way around.

Homebuilders, remodelers, real estate developers and home services companies pay GuildQuality for customer surveying and performance reporting. We refer to these companies as GuildQuality Members, Guildmembers, or members.
Our service helps Guildmembers monitor customer satisfaction and -- if they choose to publish survey feedback on our public website at guildquality.com -- articulate the quality of their service for prospective customers.
All of the Guildmember information we publish at guildquality.com has been provided to us either by the member (such as pictures of work and biographical information) or by their customers via one of our surveys (customer comments, performance summaries, and reviews).
All of the customer feedback that we publish is derived from the customers we survey. Our Guildmembers provide us with their customers' contact information, we conduct the surveys, they receive the feedback, and -- if they have chosen to make their feedback public -- the member's performance report is automatically updated to reflect the response. Members may choose to publish a summary of either all of their feedback or their most recent twelve months of feedback.
In addition to average performance ratings and survey statistics, GuildQuality also publishes two types of customer commentary: Comments and Reviews.
A comment has been provided by a survey respondent in response to any one of the survey questions we ask, and a member may or may not choose to publish it. Often customers provide unsolicited testimonials or compliments, and members can choose to share these comments in their published performance report.
Many Guildmembers choose to participate in our formal review process. These members have added an additional question on their survey: "If you'd like to provide a public review of your experience working with the Guildmember, please share it here." In contrast to comments, which a member selects to have published, we publish all reviews, provided they are at least 30 words long. With each review, we include a one to five star rating provided by the survey respondent.
