Encore Construction Company provides design/build services for both new home construction and remodeling projects. We also have a division called "Kitchens by Encore" that specializes in kitchen design and remodels.
On average, we usually work on ten to twelve large projects at a time (new homes, remodels and renovations), with any number of smaller jobs at the same time (e.g., kitchen or bath remodels).
The Encore Production Team is led by the Production Manager who oversees all Production Staff. Every Project is assigned a Project Leader, an experienced carpenter in charge of every aspect of the Project. The Project Leader works with the clients and the subcontractors, monitors the schedule and the job costs and ensures the highest quality in every aspect of construction. Encore currently has five Project Leaders on staff, three of whom have earned the designation of Certified Lead Carpenter. Encore also employs several carpenters and carpenter assistants. The key to our team success are our subcontractors. We hire only subcontractors who meet our stringent qualification guidelines.
At Encore, we focus on the client's building experience. While all clients expect high quality construction, we at Encore realize that the customer's experience with his or her new home or renovation is equally important. Recognizing this, we focus on three things that we know are of utmost importance to our clients: finish on time, within budget and with zero punchlist. We have processes in place that constantly monitor the schedule and the budget, and we work hard to ensure that the completed project is presented to the client with no punchlist.
We use Project Management software to closely monitor schedules, forecast or detect any slippage, and quickly adjust in order to keep on schedule.
On our website, we have a secure area for our clients to view the progress on their project through weekly photos. For most of our clients, the work we are doing is on their second home so they are not close by when the work is going on. The website allows them to view progress and, at the end of the project, we burn all the photos to a CD for the client to have a record of their construction experience.
We know the key to our success is customers who rave about us to friends and family, so the majority of our marketing is focused on our current client base. We have systems in place that ensure that we get back to clients quickly and exceed their expectations at every turn.
