Company History

Country Classics is family owned, team oriented and dedicated to excellence. Since 1988, Country Classics has dedicated itself to building superior homes in inviting neighborhoods that meet and exceed the dreams of our homebuyers. WE are a family of homebuilders... one of Hillsborough, Jew Jersey's, original landowner families. Our roots go deep... our standards set high.

Scope of Work

Country Classics is a new home builder of the most desirable neighborhoods in Central New Jersey and Pennsylvania. We build all products including condominiums, active-adult condominiums, townhomes, active-adult townhomes and single family homes. We also recently introduced a renovations and remodeling division.

Typical Workload

We've already welcomed more than 1,000 families home to our Country Classics communities. We currently have four communities available for purchase. There ware many home buyers only months away from occupancy in their new homes. Country Classics also has two Design Studios where buyers can select personal choices for their kitchen, bathrooms, etc. and several beautifully furnished model homes.

More than 90% of your clients would recommend your firm to a friend. How do you earn such high praise from your customers?

Our mission statement says it best. "AT COUNTRY CLASSICS WE STRIVE FOR EXCELLENCE WITHIN OUR SELVES, AS A TEAM, AND AS A COMPANY. OUR GOAL IS ALWAYS TO HAVE SATISFIED HOMEOWNERS LIVING IN A COMMUNITY THEY CAN BE PROUD TO CALL HOME." Based on the results of customer surveys, we deliver what we promise: great customer service, which we strive to perfect every single day. The attention to detail that has become a Country Classics trademark is clearly evident in our imaginative use of space and light and the wide array of extraordinary standard features that we include in every home.

Client Profile

It varies with the location, community design and home style offered. We have condominiums for first time buyers, single baby boomers and active adults who are looking to downsize. Our single family homes typically appeal to the younger family looking for lots of bedrooms and a neighborhood for the children to recreate and attend a nearby school.

Approach to Working With Clients

Education is key. We have residential communities to suite many needs. Architectural design, square footage and quality products offer a wide array of choices for any new home shopper. Listening to the buyer and educating them to product alternatives for them and for family to live close by has been most successful.

Ongoing Staff Training and Development

Country Classics encouraged continuing education for all employees. The builder partners participate in the NAHB Builder 20 group meetings twice a year. The sales staff attends a wide variety of programs geared to offer full service to our customers. The construction team strives for excellence in products, procedures and building code and engineering methods. Quarterly meetings are held to review recently delivered homes, buyer surveys and subcontractor performance so that we can continually improve our service.

Motivating Employees

Country Classics tends to hire self motivated individuals to begin with. The TEAM concept that extends through all departments is also a big factor in making employees feel their opinions matter and their voice is heard.

Why are you a builder/remodeler?

Being able to see the work we do stand for decades is very rewarding. There is such a tangible value to watch families grow up and enjoy their lives in a home we built for them.

What should clients bring to the table and contribute during the construction process?  What can they do to help make the relationship a success?

We welcome our clients to visit their homes under construction. This is their chance to see the construction process and ask any questions they may have along the way. By welcoming them to be involved we build a relationship through interaction and with confidence.

What are the biggest challenges facing companies like yours in the building industry?  What are some of the challenges facing your business right now?

The biggest challenge right now is all the negative press regarding the housing industry. Many home buyers are concerned about the time it will take to sell their existing home. Marketing your home with a Realtor professional that is active in your marketplace will ensure proper pricing and a timely sale. Our company also provides Quick Delivery Homes for those who have a need for faster occupancy.

What's next for your company

We feel there are so many opportunities out there to build. Our company has the flexibility and experience in building all products which can only lead to growth in the future.

Is there anything else you'd like people to know about you and your company?

We feel it is our duty and our privilege to get involved in the communities in which we build. We annually contribute to the Children's Home in Easton, PA and the Women's Resource Center in Hillsborough, NJ.
