Company History

While just a teenager, Paul Paniagua was introduced to the building trade by his father, receiving hands-on training while framing & building. In 1989, after several years of gaining experience, he started All Pro Builders Inc. The company is family owned and operated by Paul and his wife Lisa, along with Paul's father, Joe and 2 of his nephews. Over the years, he also employed his sister, brothers in law, and mother in law-making it a true family affair.

More than 90% of your clients would recommend your firm to a friend. How do you earn such high praise from your customers?

We truly care about each of our customers and therefore, we do everything possible to keep them informed and involved with the project, addressing their concerns as necessary and making sure the job runs smoothly. Our main goal is to ensure that the customer is satisfied with the completed project-as well as the company as a whole.

Our customers are like extended family; because the work being done is in someone's 'home', not just a house, it enables a relationship to form on a personal level. This belief has lead to many friendships and long-term business relationships.

Community Involvement

We enjoy giving back to our community as much as possible. We've been blessed to be able to touch so many lives-with a focus on the children. St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Fullerton Boys & Girls Club, Ronald McDonald House, Fullerton Firefighters Association, Fullerton Police Officers Association and Joel Osteen Ministries are just a few among those that we have chosen to support. Each year we establish a budget/portion of our net profit to give to charity, and each year we wind up exceeding that budget-it just feels good to give!

Additionally, we actively support & sponsor many of the local youth sports teams and are now the "Official Carnival Setup Crew" for our son's elementary school. This year, at their request, we built 2 water balloon launchers that are sure to equal lots of fun for the kids and adults both.

How do you market your company?

Our marketing has changed quite dramatically over the years. Due to our number of years in business, we now have a much greater number of repeat customers and referrals; however, we understand the importance of 'branding' ourselves and keeping our name in front of everyone. In addition to our company signage (job signs and truck lettering) you can find us pretty much everywhere: in magazines, yellow pages, on bus benches. And now we're reaching into several local, community advertising venues such as restaurant take out menus, pizza box ads at Round Table, and grocery store free publications.

What's next for your company

The first 'next step' is obtaining CGR Certification; I never made the time before, but will now be making it a priority to complete the necessary courses in order to obtain the certification. We will also be asking our Lead Carpenters to undergo the same certification process. And then annually, we plan to make continuing education a mandatory part of everyone's job requirements.

The second, long-term 'next step' is to grow our business in a big way-doing all we can over the next few years to just about double our current volume and reach toward our goal of $3 million in sales volume.
