Initially I was pleased with Weldon Home Exteriors. The price was comparable to other outfits and the crew did a great job of making sure everything was installed efficiently and cleaned up each night. Overall, the siding work has been as expected. However, issues came after the install. During install the crew accidentally damaged our roof, I found out about this after a hard rain. I called the owner, told him about the issue and did not ask for him to fix it,r ahter to come and take a look. He assured me he would send his "roof guy: out to look at it. A week later, after no one showed up, I called again. I have never heard from him since, after multiple times trying to get a hold of him. I was willing to work with them to reach a solution, having been in construction before I realize accidents happen. Weldon Exteriors' blatant disregard for following through on their promise to send someone out, and the cowardice of not responding to subsequent phone calls should give anyone pause before choosing this company and dealing with the owner. Additionally, some of the molding originally installed had come loose, rather than not receive a callback, I had the painters fix that issue. Also, we were told our project would be put on some Hardie list as a certified install...that has yet to happen.

Weldon Home Exteriors   Weldon Home Exteriors is pleased to know that you were completely satisfied with your James Hardie Siding Installation. I'm sorry you feel that our company caused a roof leak. You mentioned a previous leak that had already been repaired. Obviously the repair that you had done before we performed any work on your home did not hold up under the heavy rain. We do not contract roof replacement or repairs any longer. We do however have an agreement with a roofing company that we refer customers to. In exchange for the many roof referrals that we give our roofing company, they perform small roof repairs for our siding customers free of charge if we so request. We did receive a call from you immediately after we completed your siding as well as a picture of water damage in your roof rafters. The rafters were very darkly stained and again the leak appeared to have been going on long before we contracted with you. Despite the fact that we did not cause any roof leaks, we contacted our roofing company by text and sent them your address and asked them to take a look at the leak. We never heard back from you. We assumed that our roofers had taken care of your issue. We have checked our office phone records, cell records and email and they show that you did not try to contact us again after the one initial call. It is 100% our fault that we did not follow up but feel that it is not fair or right for you to claim that you called multiple times when you absolutely did not. There would have been no reason to ignore you or to not take care of any issues. Our roofers would have taken care of the roof leak free of charge. Also, as you stated above you chose not to inform us of the loose molding you mentioned in your review. We can not take care of an issues we are responsible for if we have no knowledge of it. Additionally, we aren't sure what you are referring to when you mentioned "some Hardie list". I'm assuming you miss understood something. There is no such list that certifies installation and we would have no reason to claim there was. You were added by us as our customer with James Hardie , which is why you were contacted for this review. We have tried multiple times to contact you by call and text to discuss the issues you claim to have had with our company but you have not responded. We are not perfect but we obviously take care of our customers. Having multiple customers (anywhere from 20 to 60) in some neighborhoods I feel speaks for itself. Especially when 90% of our business comes from word of mouth. I hope any future potential customer reading this review will take a look at the many wonderful and honest reviews that we have received over the years. I hope that they will trust and believe that this one dishonest review does not accurately represent our company or the hard work and the dedication we show to our customers.
