Inventory home was purchased and there are some nicer standard features that weren't offered with other builders at the price point. That being said there is some quality concerns that have come to light the longer we've been in the home. Most notable being a bow in the tray ceiling in the entryway to the home and poor drainage between our home and a neighbors that is a constant mud pit. The side of the home faces east and west with the area that stays constantly wet facing east with the home next to us being a 2 story home the area between the homes has very little direct sunlight and giving the area very little time to ever dry out. Would think engineers would look at this and install some sort of drainage system to move excess water from this location.

Good quality home and they finished the project like they promise!
UnionMain was accommodating for concerns or customization request as long as it is reasonable and was always available to discuss questions and educate homeowners on the construction process.
UnionMain Homes responded to everything in a good amount of time. Working with UnionMain Homes has been great.
Since the beginning stages, I have talked very highly of UnionMain and have been recommending to all of my family and friends who are currently looking to move/ build a home.
I think they did a good job. The only major issue we had, they fixed immediately. They seem to be the only builders to care about the neighborhood. I really appreciate that. They came over and cleaned up.
I am for sure will NOT recommend this builder to any on my friends. I don't want my friends to go through the worst experience and cheap quality.
We have a beautiful home with issues. Once these issues (all of which should have been corrected PRIOR to closing, or never happened if there would have been some craftsmanship/construction oversight along the way) are corrected, it will be the home we were hoping for. I would be willing to bet that the process is similar with most every other builder today based on the way the industry has gone with a focus on speed of construction and whatever it takes to close and walk away mentality.
Highly recommend for home buyers who are looking for higher standards and more values of new construction homes.
GuildQuality partners with it's member companies to survey their customers and collect detailed feedback on their behalf. By administrating surveys as an unbiased third party we ensure that customers have the oppurtunity to express their true feelings about a project and that members get the most accurate and detailed feedback possible.
When a survey contains the "Review" question, that customer's answer will show up on the member's profile page as a public review. Members have the option to turn off reviews but cannot hide individual reviews. It's all or nothing. This means that any reviews you see on a GuildQuality profile page are real comments left by the customer and verified by GuildQuality.
Each item listed under "Customer satisfaction" represents a specific question asked by GuildQuality to customers of UnionMain Homes as part of our survey process. The bar graph and percentage next to the question stand for the percentage of respondents that were "Satisfied" about that particular question.
A customer is considered satisfied about about a question if they answered with 4 or more stars out of 5. For example if the "Communication" question is at 95% satisfaction that means that 95% of survey respondents answered that question with 4 or more stars out of 5 possible stars.More about surveys
