They did a bad job. They took forever. They didn't communicate with me. They put things in trash bags and not in boxes. They did not take care of family heirlooms. They did a poor job.
Rytech was extremely professional. They came on time and walked me through the process. They communicated well.
They got to me quickly, we're super competent and thorough. They explained everything, worked fast, cleaned up after themselves. I'm very impressed and would definitely recommend Rytech to anyone who has water damage in their home.
I would absolutely recommend Rytech Restoration! There were very professional, yet very easy to speak to, and answered all of my questions in a timely manner and very pleasantly.
They were knowledgeable and helpful.
They were dependable. They slowed up on time. They left everything clean.
They were the first company there and were able to help us in a difficult situation.
I initially thought highly of Rytech. This experience convince me otherwise. The work started on June 19, 2023 and wasn't completed until 2 months later, in large part because the work was understaffed. Other jobs were started instead of prioritizing the completion of my job. While I personally liked key workers who were here (Sterling, Eljay), sometimes only one worker would be and only for half a day. Doug Guerrant, initially responsive, stopped responding to my emails and microbial spray was put indiscriminately on walls and tile floors with no effort to repair, despite repeated requests. As well, cabinets and wall fixtures were needlessly torn out without any thought of the replacement effort and cost. If I ever (fate forbid) had another situation like this one, I would choose a company that could do the remediation and the repair.
They have been attentive, courteous, and thorough.
Rytech was very professional, great communicators, and got the job done as quickly and efficiently as possible!
Rytech did not do an appropriate job on the remediation. They did not do a full pack out as they said they would, and as a result my entire pantry is full of toxic dust and will need to be replaced. They did not test water behind the piano, or remove items from hall closet that has a connecting wall, so that wall was not tested. Insurance adjuster said that the tile underneath the plank vinyl flooring must be removed becuase there is water underneath. Rytech said there is no water under the tile, it is non-porous. The matter was escalated to management and they confirmed that tile is "non-porous" and told my husband it would be "unethical" to remove it. As a result, we had to bring in a second remediation company Servpro who found a ton of water under the tile, and it spread further into the kitchen, affecting the cabinets, so now we need a full kitchen replacement and water still under the tile while we wait for approval for second mitigation from our insurance company.
Packet that was done was horrible. Random boxes, items just shoved in there randomly. No wrapping of fragile items. Needs to be repacked by the movers.
Additionally, they put in fans and dehumidifiers which is not indicated for a Cat 3 black water leak (should have installed dehumidifiers and air scrubbers only). The plastic sheeting they put up fell down over the weekend because we had to leave the home. So, the fans blew bacteria filled water and dust all over every surface of my home. We had to get environmental bacteria testing from a separate company because Rytech did not do that (even though it says that is one of your services).
Our job supervisor was in and out, and left his team unsupervised, so what he said would happen to me, did not happen with his team. I had to leave the home 45 mins into the remediation due to extreme allergies to dust, so I was unable to "supervise" the remediation to make sure everything was done appropriately.
Completely unacceptable work. From a consumer's perspective, it feels like Rytech does the bare minimum to get in and out as quickly as possible so maximize profitability with volume of claim work, rather than taking the time to do it correctly.
Punctual. They came out to my home within 16 hours of flood damages which was at 9pm the night before. Thorough explanation of process and even had contractors in the area to further assist after water was removed. Definitely recommend
Sent bt insurance Co. NO choice as to who did the clean up. Job completed ok.
The employees I dealt with were very, very professional. They set targets and kept all of those. I wasn't at the property a lot of the time. They contacted me every day to let me know they were there and what they were going to do. They followed up at the end of the day to let me know what they found. It was a good experience all the way around.
Rytech was professional and did a very good job.
Everyone I have dealt with have been friendly, informative and helpful with any and all my questions.
Rytech of First Coast provided excellent service and looked out for the best interests of my family, considering the mold. They took additional steps to protect my family members. The lady who tended to our property was amazing and provided the best professionalism and customer service.
They were just great from the start to the finish. They were very reliable, knowledgeable, and very professional.
Rytech Restoration was very professional and knowledgeable. They came in during a difficult time, and they did a great job. They were really professional and conscientious about what they were doing. I would recommend them coming in and helping someone. Overall, they were just nice people.
Rytech did excellent work.
Dan was so amazing and helpful throughout the process. He came over immediately, talked us through the process and what we could expect in the insurance process. He was so quick to help us identify the root of our leak. We can’t thank him enough for being so attentive!!
Quick response and they came in set up the fans to dry up the water and that was it.
They did a great job.
To many people involved
My water heater leaked & caused water damage through a majority of the house. I was stressed about the damage & not looking forward to dealing with the process to get everything fixed. Rick explained the whole process to me the first day and communicated each step to me. Rytech handled most of the demolition and I was completely stress free while they were working on my house. Thank you so much Rick for making the process as seamless as possible! I’ve already told multiple people how impressed I was from this company & would definitely recommend using them!
The crew were all very professional. The setup and cleanup of the equipment to dry out the area where I had water damage was impeccable. I got plenty of advance notice when technicians were coming to my house.
My house got flooded with sewer backup. They pretended to come out and do so much. They were supposed to go under my home and dig it out. They came out here and I watched them. I have a video of a short man. He had a young boy in his 20's maybe going underneath there and he didn't know what he was doing. They didn't dig the dirt down. They said they had to dig it down to the fresh dirt and put chemicals on it. I never saw any of that. They left my window standing wide open and it was cold. We were staying at a motel. They told us to get out of the house because it was that bad. He left the door unlocked and open. I called his supervisor. They told me that I could call. I would never recommend them to anyone. These kids out here get jobs and halfway do them. They will make businesses look really bad. I want to have someone come in and see what they have to say about it underneath my home. You can get hepatitis and diseases from it. My house is across from the manhole for the sewer. Spectrum came through and was shooting fiber underground and I know they hit my sewer line. I didn't have a minutes trouble until they did that. It came in the sink, toilet, dishwasher, and everywhere it could come up. The two guys didn't do their job. I asked them to come out here and see what I was talking about. It smelled so bad. My hall closet smells bad. You shouldn't be able to smell it at all if it were done right. They said they would put plastic and stuff down. I got a bill for $5,500.00 and sent it to insurance. I told them it wasn't worth them even paying it. I don't know what they did. I don't want them to try and condemn my home. It's been rough and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
During my process, Rytech was very good about answering my questions. This was my first time dealing with something like this, so I didn't know what to expect. They were good at keeping me informed and were patient with me.
They were very thorough.
Responded quickly to my watered basement and took away all debris. Used many fans to quickly dry out the cement floor. Explained each step they were doing and what needed to be done. Very professional employees. Would recommend this company. If ever in need of this type of service, I would use them again.
Overall, I was pleased with the job and professionalism. My only complaint is that unnecessary damage was caused to my flooring.
Rytech did not clean up the water damage correctly the first time. There was water sitting on the floor the whole time, and they did not check under the flooring and baseboards at all. I have asthma and have had a lot of issues during this project. The second crew said they could not believe that they did not rip the floor out the first time, and the insurance adjuster said the same thing.
I had to go through this process before with a different company when my washing machine messed up. The main floor washing machine filled up buckets of water and flooded onto the new flooring. We had to replace all the carpet and flooring in the bathroom. For this event, the water came down into the guest room, and we had to replace all the carpet in the room. Rytech was the best and did what they said they would do. They were here when they said they would be and very professional. I am very pleased with them.
The gentleman who I dealt with had good customer service and clear communication throughout the process. I was pleased with their process. Both people I worked with were very efficient in leaving everything nice and clean during the placement of the equipment and afterwards.
They are extremely quick, responsive, and competitive in pricing.
A mixed feelings to recommed until problem mentioned below on professionalism & courtesy is remedied.
Linda from Rytech was very informative and professional. She answered all our questions and helped us feel hopeful during a very stressfull time. Water damage is serious and she and her team checked on us daily and only removed the fans when our measurements showed all mold and water was gone. That was the first step towards getting our kitchen up and running again. Thank you Linda and team! We really appreciated all your help and hard work. Jo and Dave F.
They were very informative and always called when they were coming out and did a splendid job.
Quick, convenient, and very professional.
My house is still in shambles. They didn't do their job.
The technician was really good and walked me through all the steps and set the right expectations.
I’m not there. Live inOhio
Overall, they gave great service.
Jonathan, Gabby, Hunter, and Samuel were professional. (Also, the lady that I paid the initial Remediation invoice to.). It’s been a pleasure dealing with all of them. I have high expectations and they all delivered.
Rytech Restoration of Northeast Philadelphia was very quick and polite.
The person that came to the house was very knowledgeable and explained everything he was doing. I would recommend.
Absolutely. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
Our insurance company connected us to Rytech of The Tri-County. First, there was visible mold from the water leak. They did not do any containment. They put up humidifiers, which spread the mold spores. When I told them to remove the humidifiers, they stated they could not do so without insurance approval. I am the homeowner, and I had to choose another company to finish the water mitigation.
Rytech of Fort Myers & Naples was amazing! They came in, told me exactly what was going on while I was crying, and everything was a mess. They were very passionate, took the time to explain everything to me, and took care of me. They showed me what they were doing, gave me information when I asked for it, and were very conscientious about what they were doing with my stuff. I love Rytech of Fort Myers & Naples!
Rytech Restoration of Austin was friendly, courteous, and tried to be on time.
