They did amazing work!
They are nice windows and I am pleased with them. The Champion Windows crew did a very good job when they installed them.
With some explanations about things that Robert did not tell us: 1) Expect delays during winter. 2) They are far from soundproof. We can hear street traffic as if we were outside. 3) Creaking and popping of the roof panels with temperature fluctuation. 4) Rain and hail is very loud. 5) It's not going to be perfect.
Super fast, super efficient, and super nice guys that came out and did it.
Job still not done after almost a year!
Because of the quality and workmanship, I already have referred them to some neighbors.
I have dealt with champion over several years and I have never had anything installed I was not pleased with, but I was not happy with this install. I can not recommend them anymore.
We have used Champion Windows two times. We have a sunroom and garden door, and the garden door exceeded my expectations of quality and look.
We have had 3 projects done by champion here in Columbus. The first was new vinyl windows on the front of my house. That went GREAT! I liked the crew and thought they did a wonderful job. No issues or complaints. 2nd was the install of windows on the back of my house. I requested the same crew and got them. This time was not happy with their quality of work and the windows were not functioning properly. They did seem to care as much this time. I then had a problem getting someone out to take care of my concerns. Someone finally came out and took care of all the issues and was very nice. Most issues were just due to not taking care of the small, finishing parts of the job. I just chalked it up to a bad day for the crew. This last experience was a nightmare for us. I do device work myself for a living and the couple things I take pride in is always doing the job like it is my own house, communicating with the customer, and making sure if they have any questions when I am done which I will do my best to answer and if I can’t I will get them the answer. This is what I expect when I have service done for me but apparently my expectations are too high. I understand problems happen, mistakes are made, but to not communicate any of that and more to the customer is poor business. After the first windows were installed I actually referred my sister to you and I got burned there as well. The salesman Marlin, was disrespectful to them and was asked to not return to their house, which I requested as well this time around, and the quality of installation was very poor. Not the quality of the windows but the instillation. So bad that they had another company do the second part of there new windows! Champion had won the first windows job and couldn’t keep the customer after you were finished and had your product and people in there home! I am sad to say that I will probably not be recommending champion to anyone I know. In my opinion the product is great which is why we chose you 3 TIMES! But I don’t know what is going on with the Columbus branch. It seems to be lost in its direction and the workmanship is suffering which has trickled down to the customers experience. This project was not as enjoyable as my wife and I had hoped. After the signing of the contract everything from there on out was a struggle. I believe in your product very much. That is why we chose to have a room made of all glass be done by what we believed to be the best product. Everything else just drug it all down from there. I hope you can get things straightened out because I do believe you have an excellent product.
There was a slight misunderstanding of the door we discussed with our salesman, the guy that came to measure and the picture on the contract. The door was not as pictured or discussed, but we compromised with Champion and kept the door as it was made. I just encourage future customers to be VERY clear about what they want and what is being ordered.
Great windows and service and installation.Very happy with my new windows.
I was very satisfied with the process overall.
One of our front screens was ripped up pretty bad & needs replaced. We noticed it the day after the job was done. I called and spoke to Star who informed me that nothing could be done until May due to covid19. She stated she was unable to even take my information or give me a reference # for that call. I sure hope they get us a new screen since its bug season and flys already getting in through the holes. Everything else was top notch!
I would like for the public to know that they absolutely do not know what they are doing when it comes to siding. There Customer Service is horrible. They use sub-contractors; they hired mine just a week before doing the job. I signed in September and they started the job 2 days before Thanksgiving. I had called the middle of October because I had not heard anything about a start date and I wished to cancel. They had not ordered my siding yet but I was told if I cancelled I would have to pay a 30% fee. This has been an absolute nightmare! The end of March they sent out another sub contractor to do a tear off of the siding because the previous job was so bad; one side of my house; the siding was on backwards. This could easily be a 10 page bad review so on that note, I would not recommend Champion; they never apologized or offered any compensation for all the problems.
All of my windows are Champions windows now
This is the second time I've had Champion work on my house. Their products are very high quality and the sales process was smooth and accommodating. The crew that came did an overall good job and was unintrusive, which was nice considering we had the install done during lock down. My only complaints are around attention to detail. There was a fair amount of debris, and even a minor few tools, that got missed in the cleanup, and some minor details in the installation that I wish had been caught. Nothing I can't straighten out myself, and frankly it would be easier to do that than coordinate a return visit, but I still wish things had been 100% rather than 90%
I'm not sure they have followed up as well as I would have liked it. There are issues they have not finished up on. I have noticed a few other things. I haven't talked to anyone yet about the issues.
Champions products are top quality, the install crew was very professional and timely, they kept us updated on the project at all times. The site manager was on-site at all times to address any issues that arose.
We had CW out initially, the job was done to perfection, the employees and install crew were very polite and professions, so we called them out again to complete three more windows. We were extremely pleased with the quality job they gave us.
Champion Windows is very efficient and fast.
GuildQuality partners with it's member companies to survey their customers and collect detailed feedback on their behalf. By administrating surveys as an unbiased third party we ensure that customers have the oppurtunity to express their true feelings about a project and that members get the most accurate and detailed feedback possible.
When a survey contains the "Review" question, that customer's answer will show up on the member's profile page as a public review. Members have the option to turn off reviews but cannot hide individual reviews. It's all or nothing. This means that any reviews you see on a GuildQuality profile page are real comments left by the customer and verified by GuildQuality.
Each item listed under "Customer satisfaction" represents a specific question asked by GuildQuality to customers of Champion Windows as part of our survey process. The bar graph and percentage next to the question stand for the percentage of respondents that were "Satisfied" about that particular question.
A customer is considered satisfied about about a question if they answered with 4 or more stars out of 5. For example if the "Communication" question is at 95% satisfaction that means that 95% of survey respondents answered that question with 4 or more stars out of 5 possible stars.More about surveys
