They were quick to sell, but gave me bad customer service once they had my money.
They were on time, courteous, and fast.
Their customer service is terrible.
The installer and his assistant was very professional. They cleaned up perfectly after the installation.
I would have given a 5 rating, but I have some minor issues I wanted addressed and no one has contacted me. I want to know why of my 17 windows only six of the window sills are completely covered in aluminum trim and the others aren't? The windows sills that are covered look great. The windows with the sills that aren't covered with the aluminum trim don't look as good and look unfinished! There is a few area's that need a little caulking. I paid a lot of money for these windows and I expected them to look perfect. I have e-mailed Matt Reed 3 times with my concerns and even sent pictures. Finally on the third e-mail he responded and said someone would get in touch with me and I haven't heard a word.
We were told our install would be completed by mid afternoon. The workers didn't leave our house until 10:45 p.m. Due to working this late, all the outside windows were not caulked. After my husband noticed this he called and the installers had to return to finish the job. Since then, I have left a message with Tyler (I was told he is the install manager) about my disappointment in the install not being completed mid afternoon like we were told (though it would have been fine if it were just a few hours later, but 10:45 meant my daughter couldn't go to bed with state testing the next day) and I have yet to receive a call back. It has been 3 weeks. I find this to be unacceptable for such a large company with a good reputation.
The quality of the workmanship was outstanding. They were able to get everything done in a short amount of time.
Pat was a great salesperson and the manager was really good about calling me to keep me informed on the project.
Like most companies that are pretty big, there is a disconnect between their sales guy and their installation guys. When you need to get a hold of someone, you cannot. Their customers service is subpar.
They did an awesome job.
We've already recommended them to friends. They have a really good price point and quality product. They're really great people.
I like the windows. I did not like the customer service.
Good quality windows! They were very fast getting them made and installed, and have good customer service.
They did the job very professionally and I would recommend the crew to anyone that needs their windows done. They cleaned up after they were finished and did not leave a mess. They were very friendly and well mannered and I am very pleased.
The windows are awesome!
The product is great. The customer service is awful. They damaged my wall when they installed my patio door and I called to complain and I have been largely ignored. The "patch job" the installer did of my wall is pathetic and appalling. Would not recommend this company.
Champion was the 5th and final company I'd scheduled to get an estimate from. The salesman was very knowledgeable and my wife and I were impressed with the quality of materials we were shown and what their performance should be like. As part of the sale, I'd agreed to write a review, to which the salesman agreed to, in writing, that would be 100% mine with no undue influence by Champion to have me give them a review that was better than what they'd earned. Good, or bad, everything is in my words only. Every company we'd gotten estimates from, assured the windows came with a warranty and would be covered if there were any issues. Well, Champion actually had the written warranty of some of those other companies and after getting the chance to read them, I'd realized just how stupid I'd been for not actually asking to see them in writing myself. They were very well written by lawyers and gave plenty of ways to get out of paying for things, or accepting responsibility if we had issues with their product. Each warranty we were shown was multiple pages long with lots of fine print the further you read. Champion's warranty looked nothing like that. It is one page long and states very clearly what is guaranteed by their warranty. In fact, here is what it says: NO CHARGE for any necessary REPAIR. NO CHARGE for any necessary PARTS. NO CHARGE for any necessary LABOR. NO CHARGE for any necessary MATERIAL. NO CHARGE for any necessary removal of JOB RELATED DEBRIS. NO CHARGE for any BROKEN GLASS for UNLIMITED OCCURRENCES. NO CHARGE for any SEAL FAILURE for UNLIMITED OCCURRENCES. NO CHARGE for any SCREEN REPAIR for UNLIMITED OCCURRENCES. NO PRORATION. There are a few more details, but nothing out of the ordinary of hidden by legalese. The estimate we were initially given was higher than I'd hoped, but we were offered a first time only discount. That meant if we agreed to purchase from Champion we would be given a discount but it would only be good for that day. If we waited, say another week to make a decision, then that discount would no longer be offered. My wife hates sales tactics like that. The discount we were offered put Champion back into the price range we wanted. Between that, how impressed we were with the warranty and quality of the windows, we were sold. We didn't finance and paid a deposit upfront with the balance due upon completion. However, a final inspection by us, and a supervisor needed to be completed and signed off for satisfaction before the balance was due. Champion came back out to get their detailed measurements and we began to wait for them to be built. Every company told us the wait time for windows was long, maybe 6 weeks, give or take. We signed our contract March 5th and the windows were installed April 13th.the work took 1 day, although we were told it could take up to 2. My wife was the person at home when the windows were actually installed. Everything went smoothly. The workers were professional, got everything installed and left nothing behind. If there weren't new double paned windows, you'd never had known they were even there. They even replaced a piece of trim that had fallen off and I never got around to replacing. Overall, I have been extremely satisfied with my purchase from Champion. The only reason I'm not going to give this a full 5 star review is because I haven't had to go through any additional process that Champion where I'd need to file a claim, or deal with customer service beyond the sale. Nor have I had the opportunity to see what kind of impact the new windows will have on my energy Bill. I would definitely recommend Champion if you're looking into rreplacing the windows on your home. So far, everything has been a positive experience and am happy with the look and cost of my new windows.
It's supposed to be interest free, but I'm paying interest anyway.
Champion claims to provide a lifetime guarantee, but 3 months after requesting that our defective Champion windows be replaced, we have heard nothing more and cannot reach a live person in their service Dept. to tell us when we can expect the replacement windows. This is abysmal service and truly no “ guarantee” at all if it’s impossible to actually get the defective windows replaced! I would not recommend Champion to any one.
I understand there were delays with Covid. We ordered the room in August and it was done in March. But we had no notifications at any time as to why there were delays or when they were going to start the project. They did a good job on the sunroom, but when they got to the door, it was not plum. It took 4 times to get it where it would lock. The stair railing was never fixed to our satisfaction. They said they would send someone out to fix it, but we have not heard anything from them about coming back.
Harold was amazing went through everything with me. When the installers were her they were polite and did a wonderful job
I did not have a very good experience. I had some issues with customer service regarding confusion about the windows.
I never got a gift card or thank you card after spending $40,000. I waited a year to get the patio cover finished. I'm still waiting for an estimate.
Every dealing in have had with Champion Windows has been excellent. I used them 15 years ago and didn't hesitate to use them again. They have not disappointed me. Extremely satisfied.
GuildQuality partners with it's member companies to survey their customers and collect detailed feedback on their behalf. By administrating surveys as an unbiased third party we ensure that customers have the oppurtunity to express their true feelings about a project and that members get the most accurate and detailed feedback possible.
When a survey contains the "Review" question, that customer's answer will show up on the member's profile page as a public review. Members have the option to turn off reviews but cannot hide individual reviews. It's all or nothing. This means that any reviews you see on a GuildQuality profile page are real comments left by the customer and verified by GuildQuality.
Each item listed under "Customer satisfaction" represents a specific question asked by GuildQuality to customers of Champion Windows as part of our survey process. The bar graph and percentage next to the question stand for the percentage of respondents that were "Satisfied" about that particular question.
A customer is considered satisfied about about a question if they answered with 4 or more stars out of 5. For example if the "Communication" question is at 95% satisfaction that means that 95% of survey respondents answered that question with 4 or more stars out of 5 possible stars.More about surveys
