The installed trim around the windows.
I was the most satisfied with the overall outcome of the job.
They installed siding as well.
The guy that installed the door was excellent. When he came out to measure he asked if he could look behind the trim and found that I had a standard door instead of having to get a custom one. The people in the office answered my questions with no problem and were quick to help.
I was satisfied with the quality of the install and that it was done quickly. They kept me apprised to what was going on if we had questions.
I would like to recognize John, the window installer. He did a great job considering the time of year it was. It was amazing what he could do in time frame allotted. He was very easy to work with.
I've worked with them before and they are consistently excellent, which is why I have chosen to work with them for several projects over the years.
They installed windows for me this time.
I would like to recognize the salesman for his exceptional service.
The guys that came and did the work on the house were amazing, but the language barrier made it a little difficult to communicate.
They exceeded our expectations all the way around.
Gutters, siding, soffits, and fascia.
I was most satisfied with the timeliness of my completion. I thought it would be an all day job but it was completed in three hours.
They installed a big bay window in my home.
Bill Sheets was very helpful and active in keeping up with it, and discussing any concerns I had. They all did a very good job.
They sided the house.
They sided the whole house, there were gutters also. They look good and solid. The gutters seem to be working. There is no rain coming down, they seem to be effective. There is ice damming right by the front, which we thought about calling them about because they put the spout right in front of the first step so when it's melting and freezing at the same time it's creating an ice sheet. Where the water is filling out on the first step became a dangerous situation. I would grade them an A. It's an awkward situation that I wouldn't even include that in the grade part. Overall the whole house was sided really well, there was no garbage. There were a few nails here and there, no gaps. They did a good job.
They replaced windows for me. The whole experience was good, and my sister and brother-in-law and my brother and sister-in-law had their windows replaced. I would grade them an A.
I thought that they did a good installation and they handled their business properly. They did a patio door. I had no complaints down the board.
The workmanship was good. The installers were very professional and polite. It was a front door. Overall, I would give them an A.
I liked the quality of work of Lake Cook Exteriors. It was quick results. We had them come out and they gave us an estimate, did the work, and it was great. They did my gutters. I would give them A+ for the overall work.
They were responsive. They got me a bid promptly and it was competitive. They’re the least expensive one I thought. It was a small job, but I was very happy with the results. I had no complaints and I'd recommend them. If I had more work to do, I would call them back.
I had a fantastic experience with them. They were low priced. They just did gutters for me. I think Lake Cook deserves a grade of A+.
They were very professional and were quick to respond. They did gutters, I would grade them an A+.
They were friendly and professional. They replaced my gutters. I would grade them an A.
They did gutters for me and they're super friendly. I had no complaints and they did good work.
Lake Cook Exteriors was good. They were very professional, and they did a really good job. They did siding and gutters. I would grade them an A+. I would very likely recommend them to a friend.
They fulfilled what they were supposed to do. They were timely and they cleaned up. We're very happy. They did gutter and siding for us. I'll give them an A. We were very happy and pleased with everything.
We had some things that we need for them to come back and look at, and they haven't been very responsive. They replaced our gutters. I would grade the overall experience with a B-.
I had no complaints. They did excellent work. It was a window replacement.
It was pretty good. I liked the people that I deal with and they've done a good job for me before. The only issue that we had was the window that they ordered because it was the wrong size so it took a little longer to get it in but I was OK with the way things worked out. I'd give them an A- because the window had to be reordered but everything was fine.
Lake Cook Exteriors were good. I liked that they did a good job. We had a couple of people come out and give quotes, and their quote was the best. And they did it in a timely manner and did a good job cleaning up. They replaced the gutters for us. I would grade the overall experience with an A. Cleanliness—I have, overtime, been finding some of the brackets from the old shutters. So, they could have done a little bit better job cleaning up all that.
I did not have a good experience with them. We got a front entry door from them with a half glass design but the glass on it was off centered. So, when we reached out to the owner he was not cooperative. He said he could not see it throughout the process. Anything I was unhappy with, he put the blame on me saying I was too picky. Which I don't think I am. I feel certain things, like: when you pay a lot of money you should be taken care of. And if it doesn't get taken care of don't make me feel like it's my fault. Like the situation with the glass he kept saying, I was too picky and he can't see it. So, we came up with a solution to have someone come out to fix it, so I decline because I didn't want to deal with him anymore. I didn't have confidence in the way he handled it. Where you have a product especially a front door, if it's tilted. I would grade them a B-.
It was a good experience, Lake Cook Exteriors just did what they said they were going to do. They did gutters for me. I would grade them an A+.
They replaced our windows. We had a window leak after they installed our windows back in January. We didn't have the window leak until about July, so we called them out to have them take a look at the window and see if they could fix it. They basically came out and assumed I didn't close the window all the way. They sent someone else out, put a piece of tape over the window, and said if it continues to leak then it was an issue with my roof and not the installation itself. So, they had me call the roofer and the agreement we came to was I would pay half because they assumed it was not an issue with the window, but because it happened after the installation, they would meet me halfway. However, when the roofer came out, there was nothing wrong with my roof. He went ahead and took the siding off my house, and they saw it was a problem with the installation. I called Lake Cook Exteriors to say I didn't think it was right that I had to pay because it was a problem with the installation. They offered a warranty on the installation and the windows installed. They didn't honor it, so I had to pay for half this window repair that took five minutes and didn't require any new materials. All they had to do was take off a piece of siding and put the paper barrier over the big panel and all they had to do was put paper over the panel, pop my siding back on, and it was repaired. My window sill is damaged. The paint came off. It was just a really bad experience. I like the windows themselves, but they didn't acknowledge that they took a shortcut when installing the windows. They didn't properly inspect it, and it caused the leak, which I still ended up having to pay to fix. It was an overall bad experience. I'd give them a D. I like the windows but the company, I didn't feel like they were professional. To be honest the owner, when I called him back, he was a little upset with me because I was calling to say it was still leaking. That's why he wouldn't handle it anymore.
Lake Cook Exteriors did gutters and window replacements. It was a good experience, from the beginning to the end. There was no follow-up. Everything is still OK today. I would grade the overall experience with an A.
Lake Cook Exteriors were fine. They put our gutters on. I liked that they came, did it in one day, and left and everything's fine. I would grade the overall experience with an A.
Lake Cook Exteriors did siding for us. They did a good job. Everything has held up pretty well since it was put in. They did follow-up and everything went OK. I would grade the overall experience with an A.
They did fascia, soffits, and gutter siding. Siding on the fascia and soffits and then gutters. These were total replacements. I liked that they were clean, prompt, and what little errors there were, were quickly assessed and corrected. I would grade the overall experience with an A.
They installed doors. They were quick, they were clean, and they did a great job. They're going to have to do some follow-up. One of the doors came in dented so hopefully in a week or so we'll hear from them to replace that door. Until I get that other door replaced, I'll say they're an A. It's not really their fault, it was really another company’s fault that the door came in dented.
They installed new gutters. It went really well. They were really quick. Actually, I don't even think I was home. They came in and knocked it out real fast. I came home and I had new gutters. I was like, 'Wow, that was easy.' It was a part of one of those things I was trying to get done to get moved out of the house. I'd give them an A overall. I didn't expect the work that closely. I thought maybe the price was a little high. That's the only thing I didn't like about it, but I needed it done and I was in a pinch.
We were waiting on a pair of shutters that hasn't come yet on the house, but everything else went well. It's just the one item. They did gutters, and they covered the trim. They wrapped the trim of the house in metal. They were decent guys. A pretty good grade, so an A- would be fine.
They put in new replacement windows. They came out right away. They assessed the situation carefully and accurately. They came up with a solution within a short time span, so they made sure they could get the work done within that time frame, and they did. All the communication was very positive. The work was very carefully and thoroughly done, and the follow-up afterward couldn't have been better. The entire experience was about as positive as you can get. I'd give them an A+.
I liked their timeliness, cost and knowledge. They did siding and a new front screen door for me. I would give them an A for my overall experience with them.
It was a good experience but it wasn’t the best. They put new soffit, fascia and gutters on my house. One of my concerns was that we do not install a downspout right next to my garbage cans at the corner of my garage because it creates ice there and we’re throwing garbage out. They put one there and they put one 2 feet away from there. I told him I didn’t want it there but he told me it was already there. There were other things I wanted him to do that he should have realized when he gave me the bid. He gave me another contractor who called me once within two months and set up an appointment for which he never showed. Then he said he had surgery and he is supposed to come out next week. He said this was a private contractor like a repair guy or something. There were some other minor issues that I wanted done too, and he should have realized it and he should have done it all at once. I like the company, their brochures and their product, gutter guards. They are very good. I told the owner that I had grandkids in the yard and personally I picked up 5 nails in the grass. When the roofer does the work, they have a magnet that they drag across the lawn and pick them up. Here I was for about two days dragging a magnet trying to pick them up. I told him that my sister, as a kid, was in the yard and someone was mowing the grass and the lawnmower picked up a nail and threw it into her leg and she had to have surgery twice. It was a rusty nail and it got infected. That’s my experience with nails laying in the yard. The work looked good and the gutter guys were in and out fast. I just don’t understand why they put two downspouts within 2 feet of each other. It is only a little sidewalk, a three feet sidewalk. The garbage cans are right there and in the winter time it’s going to be a solid sheet of ice. I’d give them a B for the overall experience. It was a good experience. They were competitive in price and they really, really, really wanted the work in the wintertime. I wasn’t sure about doing it in the winter because the people get cold and sometimes they get sloppy. I waited and we did it when I wanted to and it turned out good. He should have taken care of the additional work or gotten a reliable guy to come and finish the work. The gutter guys were great. They blew the driveway every day and they picked up everything.
They did a good job. They did a great job, and I had no problems at all. I’d give them an A. They did siding, gutters, and a front porch rebuild.
They were absolutely excellent. They were very friendly and very responsive. When I called and asked for someone to come out and give us a quote, they kept in touch with us with in regards to scheduling and doing the job. Afterward, I had a question, and I didn’t know whether it was a concern or not, but both the guy running the job and the owners of the company got back to me immediately. It was service that was way above and beyond. We had siding, gutters, and downspouts installed. I would give them an A+ for an overall grade.
I would say the work was great work, with no complaints whatsoever.
They replaced my front picture window on the front of my home. They're good friends of mine, and they're just very reliable and thorough. They're in my price range, so everything worked out great. I'd give them an A+.
They did a great job. They put gutters on the house. My overall experience with them was excellent.
