It's a shame that all of the workers couldn't speak English. It was only one of them could speak English. They do good work, but you couldn't understand what they were saying and Vice-versa.

You need to consult the local building and zoning department.  Changing means of egress may not be allowed or may require a permit.
We just moved into a new home with a heat pump (new for me). The master suite stays about 5 degrees colder than the rest of the house. Any ideas why?
