The technicians were professional, courteous and answered all of my questions. I did have an issue with a bill I later received for $400 as I had originally paid the bill in full. I knew that the $400 was credited off the purchase price as I had a contract with Nicor for my furnace & air conditioning, so there was a $400 rebate involved. When I call Blue Frost, they agreed that it was an oversight and promised to reverse the balance of $400. They were helpful, concerned which assured me that there customers are important to the success of their company.
I could have gotten a better deal.
They do a lot of inspections, and I was absolutely impressed! We picked them because, of all the people we've dealt with, they were the best. They went over things thoroughly. Any questions we had, they answered them.
Blue Frost is one of better companies out there. We had a new furnace, air conditioner and humidifier installed and we are completely satisfied. I had to call once because I was having problems with the new air conditioner. They came out found the problem and solved it with no excuses. We now have them service the units twice a year. They are prompt, clean, polite and professional.
They provided the annual cleaning and checkup for the A/C and Furnace. They were very thorough and everything is still working great. They cleaned up after themselves and were courteous. Their prices were given with a discount and were lower than others in the area. As a senior on a fixed income, that is important to me. I would recommend them to others.

Blue Frost has been our go to HVAC place since it was established.
This was the first visit to our house by Blue Frost. Our previous HVAC service of 15 plus years went out of business, so I was looking for a new company to trust with our heating and air needs. The air conditioning clean and check service went well for a reasonable price. However, I was surprised with a $1,700 quote to add a liner to our chimney to vent our hot water heater. I did not ask for them to look at the venting or prepare a quote for it, but he did so because the vent pipe was slowly rusting from moisture build up on a bend area near the hot water heater and also where it exited at the chimney. I called a chimney professional within the next week and he advised not to add a liner to the already existing clay liner due to an extreme bend in the chimney. He quoted $750 if he was going to do it, but said the work may or may not help the existing venting and could entail a major amount of work to the chimney once it was opened up. He said to leave it alone and install a monoxide detector in the crawl to monitor any changes and to buy a different type of water heater when this one needs replacement. He seemed to have extensive knowledge and experience on the subject. Since our current venting has been set up this way for 10 years now with zero issues I felt I should trust his judgement. May not be using Blue Frost in the future because I feel uneasy about being handed a quote that was over double the price for the same work quoted from the chimney professional and may or may not have solved anything in the process.
